Rcd calls on cell from 562 # but no message.  After viewing this site, I called the Digitcom this morning to demand that they stop calling my cell phone.  The rep claimed that they are not making the calls but somehow another telemarketing company selling insurance is using their numbers. I asked if Digitcom made telemarketing calls, he claimed they did not.  When I asked if they had a Do Not Call list, he stated they did and I could be added immediately.  Why do they have a Do Not Call list if they don't telemarket??

My mom has been getting calls on her cell from some of the same
#'s as the rest of you. There is only one place that has her cell
#, and that is the cell company itself. Verizon Wireless. We're curious as to how many of these comments are coming from Verizon users?

in the 303-area i got also on fri08feb2007 a call from 1-201-210-6001; on suspicion i pushed the red button immediately; 281-520-3761, 562-289-8136, and other numbers left me the message: " i'll call before we close the file ...press 1 to speak with our representative now about your vehicle. "; always by the same men's voice.

They will add you to the do not call - but that company that has called you already has your # and will keep calling it

I've been reporting them to the FCC for weeks, and the past week and a half they haven't called me.  They used to call me multiple times a day for weeks.  So reporting them must work.

I'm getting calls at my office from 562 289 8187.

Same stuff/SUV warranty BS.

Some of the messages, when left, are quite snarky.

They are now using 213-363-5185.  I used *69 and then looked them up using reverse phone

Well it would seem that Snopes is wrong!

I have ONLY cell phones, and every since mid Feb I've been getting telemarketers calling me. 2-3 a week.

Complaints to FCC about these car warranty/credit card prerecorded telemarketing calls won't work because the phone numbers on the caller ID are fake.  These jerks are ignoring any laws pertaining to Do Not Call, so placing your landline and cellphone numbers on the DNC list will not stop the calls.  And you can't sue them because no-one knows, exactly, who is making these calls.

What we need are names and physical addresses...of the companies themselves, and of the homes of anyone associated with these companies.

Political addendums aside; I did contact the FCC and this scam company DID cease from calling me any longer.  I also received a letter from there lawyers (GAW) stating I would not be receiving ANY more calls.

Perhaps instead of sitting in your mother’s basement paranoid, you go out and actually do something rather then [***] about it on an internet forum?

Hoax call from 307-896-6136.  When I went to speak to a person and asked them for their company name and address they hung up promptly.
