1-562-289-8136\ calls EVERY day, including weekends, between 3:30 and 5:00 EST.
Today I got ticked off enough to dial back and got a message saying that I had "been removed from their preferred customer calling list". This was 3 minutes after they dialed my number. These phone calls are simply harassment. I have never given my number to anyone except immediate family, and it's a new phone.
How do I get them to stop????????????

Yep, I've gotten two calls from them now, as well as a postcard in the mail from some company in Florida last week, running the same Auto Warranty scam. They're running the scam both by mail and phone it seems.

i've gotten several of these calls on my cell.  i dont recognize the number so i dont answer.  they started calling last week or so.

I also have had numerous calls from this number only. I called it back and got the message "Thank you. You have now been removed from our preferred customer list". So we'll see if this stops the calls. Probably some odd phishing scam. I've been getting calls almost every day usually in the afternoons on weekdays so far.

I hate it!

1-562-289-8136 has called me everyday at least once if not twice since 01/01/08. The first call is usually at around 10:00am, the second is either mid-afternoon or in the evening (today it was at 8pm). I never answer, and they never leave a message.
I added myself to the Do Not Call registry today, but it says I have to wait 30 days to file a complaint. :(

Calls from this number came on 5 of the last 6 days.  Disruptions to class.  Risk of danger answering cell.  Listened once, just a computer call.  Called back, told name removed. Calls keep coming

We have been getting these calls as well and we would like them stopped. We are on the no-call list, so aren't we entitled to $500 or something like that. The only thing that these people know is money.

I called Digitcom ((800) 464-5446) and they told me to call this number 1-800-461-6657, which I havn't yet because I don't want to verify my number.

They called again tonight at 8:10 est. I'm pretty sure that it's illegal to call that late.

These people are breaking the law on so many levels.

So these guys call me like 2 or 3 times a day, EVERYDAY!  I normally don't pick up the phone, but i decided that i'm going to start answering it each time and give them a random exotic car, so I can throw off whatever research they are trying to do.

Just called that Digicom #. I asked them if they were tied to 562-289-8136. He said "Unfortunately, yes." and said if I gave them my cell # they'd add me to their do not call list. I told him I first wanted to know what this Digicom company does. He said they sell phone #'s to telemarketers. So I think we should all call this Digicom company and tell them they suck!! They have been calling three different cell #'s in my house. I'm tempted to call my cell phone company and threaten to sue them for giving out my cell #s. I'll be surprised if these calls end. But hope they do!

Thanks for the info. I found out the same company when I did a reverse.  I called the company and told the person on the other end if they continued calling my 12yr old son's cell phone anymore my attorney would slap a lawsuit on them that would make their heads spin.  The person on the other end of the line told me it wasn't necessary and they would remove the number.  not being a trusting soul I had already changed the cell number with my cell provider after explaining my problem to them.  they changed the digits immediately free of charge.  I say a class action law suit may be in order if this harassment continues!!!!

I don't subscribe to facebook or my space and they got my number.
marketers are going to hurt themselves if they keep it up. i am going to send info on every telemarketer i get a number on the my congressman and request legislation to stop it! the list is big. I have done donotcall.gov as well and they still call. I report them there too! It does work! (donotcall registry)
