Got a call from this number this morning.  Didn't answer since I don't answer calls I don't know the number on.

Guy asking for money for firefighters fund, appeared to be a real person. hung up on him.

Claimed to be calling from some firefighters association?

Just called and hung up.  Now blocked after reading all these comments.

Called but left no VM

I didn’t answer so I called back and phone hangs up

I answer the phone they said they’re calling for the firefighters funds it’s a scam just like when they call and say they’re calling for the police ball they just want your credit card information and it’s a phony organization the police department and fire fighters would never call

They called my phone and did not leave a voice message. So I googled it and it appears as scam call. Be careful out there people.

Called trying to scam for some random charity that he couldn't prove existed. Used California Firefighters as an excuse.

Received call from a Mike Davis claiming to be collecting funds for the local fire department. Told him we were about to move and unable to at the moment, but we typically support our local fire/rescue. He proceeded to talk on and say it was mail, I told him again that we couldn't and then he talked over me and hung up.

Called back because I legit thought it was a fundraising attempt but it was a robot voicemail.

Definitely scam.

Firefighters association ...taking donations starting at $35, $50, $100!! Scam!

Yes same guy called me.

Overwhelmed by dozens of calls almost on a daily basis.

Phony firefighter fundraiser has called all of the phones in the houshold -- both landline and all our cell numbers. No legitimate business operates that way. Blocking as fraud and hope the Attorney General will shut this racket down soon.

Same here - blocked and alerted family members to ignore & block

Yep, this guy just called from firefighters I just hung up.  Came on here and sure enough it's a scam. How despicable.
