Calling from "Seal Beach, CA"  They called, but only left a voiceless 2 second voicemail. Blocking them now as it appears to be a scam.

Called twice on cell phone and it says Seal Beach, SCAMMERS all the way

Called once.  They hung up when I informed them they would be prosecuted for illegally soliciting contributions.

Missed call no voicemail left.

Just got the call.  Hope that these people rot in Hell for taking advantage of the situation here in Southern California.

The second I asked him where he got my number, he gave a fake response. This guy is is running a scam under the guise of helping firefighters.

Caller said he was with " the firefighters and ems" i asked who he was and he immediately hung up definitely seems to be a scam. absolutely despicable to prey on people during disasters

Definitely a scam !!! Wanted money for Ems and fire fund ! Ems and fire will not call for money! I know because I work ems. Scammer was quick to hang out when called out on the BS!!!

Asking for Firefighter donation.

called my DNC listed #, left no message. a search shows this # is Dish. I believe it is a SPOOFED # because Dish does not have this # for me, and they would leave a message if they needed to speak to me. I think it is scammers/ CRIMINALS at work.

Said he was from some sort of firefighters organization and was calling for a donation. I told him I’d be happy to donate if he could give me a web address where I could read about the org first. He said they’re mail only — so I said, then I can’t help him and hung up

I've receive a call november the 11th, Mike Davis claiming donations starting at 30$ to support the fights fires.

DONT TRUST. Just got this now, no message. This call abuse needs fixing, ASAP

if you want to give to the fire fighters/victims, look it up yourself on google!  Never trust anybody calling looking for money, always look it up/verify for yourself and call yourself, ask for a number to call back and they will probably hang up or give you a sketchy number which wont match the official organization/company number. Anybody can spoof any number with our current system.

Scam Alert!!! Called asking for donations for a non profit that doesn't exist in California. I asked for more information to be sent to me via mail before I made a contibition. He pushed harder and I told him if he wasn't willing to send me information then I wasn't donating money. Definitely a very sad scam considering the devastation California is going through right now.

Called left no message. California Fire Association/Fund would never call from this number! Would be an 800 or 877. Would also come up legit and not from another Company. Call was not Dish. They left no msg. My guess they were pulling a Scam using another businesses phone number through an App so the call didn't come up as Suspicious Caller. What creeps. Fire Fighters would also send out information by mail with permission not call for #. What Creeps!!!

A man called from this number (fireman fund assoc) and asked how much would I be donating. I said I donated already. He hung up. No thank you or nothing

He said his name was Mike Davis, and he was from the Firefighters and EMS Fund. Riiiiiiight. The fires are happening in Paradise and SoCal right now, and these callers are preying upon emotions. Don't give over the phone, people.
