I receive a number of different calls that I don't want.  This one, I decided to try to find out exactly how the "lower your credit card debt" worked.  I did answer the questions until it got to where he wanted the expiration date of my largest card, at that time I asked again exactly how it worked.  He said when I gave him the information he would transfer me to a financial department.  I asked him to take me off his list, he proceeded to call me not so nice names!  Wasn't impressed at all...

And the survey says...

Have received 4 calls from 570-983-3206 caller ID said SURVEY, finally answered and it was an automated call about lowering credit card something as I cut it off.  I too am on the Do Not Call List.

" . . . lowering your interest rates. please consider this your final notice"  — how I wish this were true!
" . . . press 3 to discontinue further services." — services!?  really?

This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They inform you that you have been selected for a reduced interest rate and reduced payments on your credit card, you just have to verify some information. However, they refuse to provide a non-toll-free phone number when asked, stating (falsely) that no businesses have non-toll-free phone numbers. When asked for a physical address, the operator answers, "Go **** yourself in your ******g *** you f*****," and hangs up. This is clearly just a scam trying to get personal information and credit card information, as 100% of legitimate businesses will gladly provide a phone number and address - and since it is required that they do so when asked under the TCPA. Do not provide these phishers any personal information.

This is a phishing expedition and nothing more, give up nothing, never say "yes" and eventually they will give up. No info= no money.

Received calls from these  Credit Card Services jerks , never pressing a number to confirm or not. The only thing that changes is the numerous numbers they call from. They are associated affiliated with 3rd party debt collection practices of Stoneleigh Recovery and Client Services Inc.

They call almost every single day during business hours, so we're not home to take the call. They don't leave a voice mail ever.

"This is your final notice.....", I would pay money for this to be true.  

YUP, these people are low life scamming crooks.  I have caller ID and never pick up my line unless I know who is calling. I have turned off my answering machine as having the machine pick up seems to "encourage" these scum. We have Century Link for our phone provider and they can not block these calls: there is so much frustration from these crooks having a "way into my life" and not being able to block them I have considered shutting down a land line we have had for over 45 years.   Century Link also says "our area" can not use call block because our "equipment is outdated and can not support call block".  You would think that with cell phones (I have one of them also) taking so much of Century links business they might try a little harder to KEEP customers?    Also if the 800notes.com people are listening you need to add scam call or crook to your Call type field.

THESE PEOPLE CALL WHEN MY LITTLE ONES ARE TAKING NAPS AND WAKE THEM UP.  I JUST GET THE KIDS TO SLEEP AND THEY CALL ALONG WITH A COMPANY CALLED SSI THAT WANTS ME TO DO A SURVEY.  I AM SO ANNOYED AT THEM.  MAKES ME WANT TO CALL THEM AND WAKE THEM UP AT 3:00 AM.

I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE SAYING.  I TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT I DON'T HAVE A CREDIT CARD TO THEM.  IT DOESN'T MATTER.  THEY ARE JUST THERE TO BUG PEOPLE LIKE US THAT HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO THEN PUT UP WITH THESE SCUM BAGS.

YOU ARE SO RIGHT...WHY CAN'T THAT BE TRUE???? BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW THAT THEY WILL CALL AND SAY THIS IS YOUR FINAL NOTICE AGAIN TOMORROW...THAT IS THE TRUTH.

I've had several calls from this number.  When I answer it, there is silence, then they say "good bye" and hang uo.

I've blocked 12 calls from these fools since August 15 and 5 calls from what appears to be a related number--570-983-3796.  Apparently, they hang up when a potential "customer" answers and fail to remove nonviable numbers from their call list.  It's difficult to understand the rationale behind their business model.

This company is harassing my family saying they are going to lower my debt. The person told me I was a liar on the phone. I want to be taken of this list!
