The calls from this number began on 8/15/14.  Almost seven weeks later I've received 17 calls, all blocked.  Today I received two calls.  CID on this morning's call was "Scranton PA."  On the evening call, it was "Survey."  I've also received six calls from their 570-983-3796 number.  Do they really imagine that changing a few digits in their phone numbers, the time of their scamming calls, and the CID will cause potential victims to answer?  Such lame brains. Maybe they'll give it a rest soon.  

Surely the most inept telemarketers ever. I'll often waste their time with false information,
but these people who appear as 'survey' never even try to get my information. Just a few
seconds of silence, a faint 'ping' and a recorded "goodbye". I guess it's a survey by burglars
trying to find out if you're home.

The only survey these callers are taking is how much money they can scam from you.

I am so tired of these dummies!  I'm getting 8-10 calls on my home per day and this morning, it happened on my cell phone.  I'm wondering if I take my numbers off the DNC list, they will stop??  Opinions??

They called Thursday, 10/2/14.  I just saw that they called.
We have the entire 570 area code blocked (for over 1 year) and when they call (which is often), their calls are blocked and our phones do not ring - not even once!
Folks, PLEASE purchase a call blocking device that can block ENTIRE AREA CODES!  We also have a Panasonic phone that blocks 250 numbers but these criminals often change one or two digits in their phone numbers and the telephone blockers are fooled into allowing the call.
You will not have that issue if you buy a blocker that can block an entire area code.

I agree.  A call blocker is more than worth the low cost.  Due to an increase in scamming calls, I installed one in mid August.  According to the call blocker's phone log, the credit card trash called my number 36 times.  The good news is my phone did not ring one time.  I do still have to erase all of these and many other scamming calls from my telephone's "Missed Calls" directory  It is sad that criminals are given free reign to use telephones we pay for to harass and steal.  it is also sad that my personal telephone calls are often interrupted by annoying beeps announcing their attempted calls.

my Caller ID came up as "Survey". I get a lot of calls from "Survey". I don't answer them. At the beginning of my answering machine message I have inserted the SIT (Special Information Tones) sound and I believe it helps with the robodialers.

Lower your credit card debt!  Don't have any freakin credit cards!
