- WestrupThese are strangers asking questions about medical issues, specifically diabetes. Since our phone allows us to block unwanted calls, we have blocked them.
- Call type: Telemarketer

- Grace replies to NICOLE PRIDGENI just received this call today asking to speak to my father. Ironically enough, this is the anniversary date of his memorial service. To have one of your so called "Legit Company Representatives" ask for my father who has been deceased for nine years is obsurd. I am on the do not call list and cannot understand why my number was dialed when my father never lived here. I can only pray my mother's number will not be dialed especially today. I thank you Nicole for providing the name of your disrespectful company because a complaint will be filed. I hope this will never happen to another person who has lost a loved one.
- Fed up with Telemarketers replies to Conserned AgentI just called Medpoint at 866-5MEDPOINT and waited for about 12 rings before the call was answered. The woman did not identify herself or the company. I had the impression she too was answering from her home, or that she was connected to some call bank at which the phone rings until someone remotely answers it - a group like the jerk who's been harrassing people from the 573-421-7319 number.
So I first asked this woman if she was an agent or with the corporate office. She paused before answering that she was with the corporate office. I had the impression she had to think what the acceptable answer would be before she responded.
I then asked if she was aware people are cold calling individuals and asking if they're diabetic. Again she paused before announcing that these cold callers do not work for their company but rather work for independent marketers.
So, Nicole, it seems as though you're not really sure who you work for. It seems you also don't understand the HIPAA law, or the inconsistency of what you're saying.
When someone called me today from this number, I answered only so I could find out who was harrassing me and post the number on the Do Not Call site. The woman mumbled a name and then said she was calling today to find out about my blood sugar level. I responded with two words which I won't repeat here and hung up. Now I'll start filing complaints.
My next step is to complain about this group to Medicare.
If I can find out who the cell carrier is, I'll file a complaint with them. I'll also see if the Missouri Attorney General has jurisdiction. Since the call is made through interstate communication facilities, the FTC would also have jurisdiction.
For the Conserned (sic) Agent, many of us are just single people trying to survive too, but I at least don't harrass strangers to do so. Don't expect my sympathy. - Unbelievable! replies to NICOLE PRIDGEN| 1 replyYou are not checking the Missouri No Call List. I have submitted my complaint to your home office Medpoint as well as the Missouri Attorney General. Your sales tactics are pathetic especially when your sales people say they are with Medicare! I think I will also file a complaint with them also. Making false statements to obtain private information is a SCAM AND SO UNETHICAL. I will make it a point to tell everyone I know. Medpoint Advantage should be ashamed and should issue apologies as you are the ones who hired the telemarketers! No way would I ever do business with you!
- ilandr65This caller called 3 times this morning. I answered 2 of the calls and it immediately hangs up right away.
After seeing the other comments regarding this phone number, I am blocking this call on my phone. - JP DominiqueRecieved 9 calls in less than a week... no messages left???? No idea.....
- jatoI think that what we all need to do is randomly start calling this number everyday, from blocked numbers of course. Maybe if they start getting enough calls in they will either go nuts from it or they won't have time to call anyone else. Who's with me? In case you don't know how to block your number its *67 before you dial out. Just a thought.

- MaryI keep getting phone calls from 573-421-7319 and when I answer no one is there and when I let it ring my phone doesn't ring enough times for my answering machine to kick in. I looked this number up on the web and it is listed to someone with a cell phone in Dexter, Mo. I have blocked this number on my phone. I see many persons are getting calls from this number. Very irritating.
- dede replies to NICOLE PRIDGENNicole, you are full of crap....no doctor would give out that info, due to the privacy laws...& why would a call center phoneof a reputaqble business, show up as a "Cell Phone"..thats more BS from you....I have a family member who is diabetic & she got a FREE monitor from her doctor...she didn't need to wait for some idiot company to bug her.....I would NEVER buy anythng from a person who bugs me on my phone...plus I never answer my phone if I don't recognize the company, person or phone number....I don't plan to look into any company that calls me unsolicited if its important enough to call me, they can leave a message, stating their business & why they want to talk to me....then I can decide IF I want to bother calling them back....however most of these companies, do not leave a message & call from a phone where you cannot call them back....fishy I'd say & main reason I put their number on block or on a NO RING.....its these types of calls that makes Caller ID sooooo worth it!!!!

- LloydPlease post a complaint with the Missouri state Attorney General's office ( I have). If he gets enough complaints maybe he will do something about this harassing number: 573-421-7319.
- LloydOOPS...in my previous post regarding reporting this number 573-421-7319 to the Missouri state Attorney General's office, I neglected to post the address: www.ago.mo.gov. Please everyone submit a complaint...do it through the company complaint, not the no call list. Listed the company as Medpoint Advantage and indicated in the complaint that reports on the internet allege that they are the company associated with the harassing phone number.
