Some foreigner  jerk that claimed he was from the IRS. He couldn't even speak English. Another dirt bag trying to take advantage of us

I received a call - couldn't understand them at all.. i did try to call back, and it was busy.. -- Wouldn't the IRS send a formal letter?

They are in India.  There's not much the US can do and the Indian government doesn't do much either.

Ignore 'em.  Total scam.

I just got a call also.  Person said they were from the IRS but had a very thick accent.  Something told me to check the number on the Internet before calling.  I'm glad I did.  Is there a formal communication out about this?

I got the call said they were the IRS ...too!!!

I just received same message for my brother in law. He has been dead for 2 years. So i called back and Kevin answered course the agent that left the message ( David Cook IRS) was not available . So I told Kevin that the person they were calling about has be gone for 2 years and if they owed the IRS anything that was IRS  problem not mine. His response was funny. Heavy accent um well um.

Got a call grom a man who has a very heavy indian accent telling me his name is garry wilson...told me i need to call a number in ten minutes because the irs was after me....he did screw up and tell me he has my picture my address bla bla bla he needs to be put out of his misery and im sorry that for those that beleive this [***] do not call the numner he gives u

Me too I received the same male claiming that he wanted to resolve a tax matter and wanted to get my credit card information and I refused and hung up then he called back with a muffled voice mail claiming the police would come in arrest me if I didn't call him back within 10 mins and he as well had an Indian accent with an American name and so I have reported the # ..so yes this is such a scam!

Frank Watson, sounded Middle Eastern, fromIRS called my phone number for a Mita Therma claiming there was a discrepancy in the filing, tried calling 585-633-1814 several times, looked the number up on the Internet, am not calling him back since this seems to be a scam.

I got a phone call from this tele #.  The lady who called me is Stephanie Cook, but, very strong accent which I had a hard time to understand what she was telling me.  She told me I need to call IRS Investigator Officer, Adam Spencer at 585-633-1814 TODAY between 9AM to 4PM.  I don't know why this officer and this lady use the exact same telephone number!  lol...

I didn't call this number right away because I wanted to google this telephone number if it shows up as scam.  Yes, it is!  that's why I came here.  

5 mins later, stephanie called me again.  She  asked me if I tried to call Adam now.  I said no.  Then, she said I need to call him RIGHT NOW.  I asked her where her IRS office is located. She said something something, NY which I couldn't catch.  So I repeated question.  I couldn't listen the city name.  Can you please give me spelling because I'm not English native speaker.  She told me she cannot give me anymore information and I need to contact Adam NOW.  So I hang up her 2nd phone call.

A person identifying himself as Gavin Johnson claiming to be an IRS Rep gave me this number to call.  Of course I am not going to call it - obviously a scam.  Thank you to others who have reported this caller.

Just like others man with thick non American accent called claiming from irs. I told him irs doesn't contact by phone and he's a scammer and needs to stop calling.  He asked why I don't believe he's from IRS calling about a tax problem.  I told him again to stop calling and reach me by mail if he's legitimate.  I hung up and he called back but I did not answer.

Received call this am. Was instructed to contact Adam Spencer. I called the IRS to report. Left message

received a voicemail from this number as well 585  633 1814...from a crystal taylor with an indian accent. claiming its in regards to my filing and calling from IRS. I called back the number but it was busy, then decided to call IRS main number and they showed no pending issues on my file to necessitate a call. plus most IRS inquiries come via regular mail.

So glad to k ow all the information. I got the call this morning. Very hard.to.understand and.lots.of noise in the back ground. I will call and report.it. I didn't answer so they left message.

Received a call from this number. Man with Indian accent. Couldn't understand his name or anything he said other than "he was from the IRS and something about legal action".

Saying they're IRS and i they want 26k r go to jail..........

I tried several times for this number, finally talked to a person. He said from 2002 to now I paid deficient tax, and cited several IRS tax laws for my violations. IRS is going to seize my property, assets and credit cards. If no payment is made it is up to 5 years in prison. A colleague of mine overheard my conversation with this IRS "agent" and sent me the following link.
