Another Consumer Svcs number.  I answered it to have the pleasure of blocking the number live.  The recording announced that it was good old Bridget from Credit Card Services.  This is the 2nd Consumer Svcs number trying to call me.  The first one (570-983-3796) is the number that has been blocked most frequently on my call blocker in the month since I got it, because I get calls from that number almost daily.  I'm kind of curious to see if they keep calling from that number or whether this is a sign that they've moved on.

Also, pressing one to have them remove your number does not actually work.  FYI.  When I tried that with Rachel from Credit Card Services, the heavily accented operator threatened to kill my husband and swore a lot.

constant calls from 586-231-3657 and 570-983-3796, caller ID says " consumer svcs", hang up when I answer or get a recorded message saying, Credit Card Services, want to lower interest rate of credit card.  I have been getting these calls for the past six months, different phone numbers, all across the US.  Have quit answering any calls and have turned off my answering machine as they were leaving a recorded message.  Have reported this to the Do Not Call.  No good doing that.

These operations use automatic dialing software to dial numbers a random. This makes it possible for them to call any and all numbers under the sun. I wish you the best of luck.

This alleged number called here earlier this afternoon. I realize they are desperate to make new friends, but I would that they introduced themselves to the answering system first. Unfortunately they never left a message. Oh well there is always next time and I know there will be a next time.

I prefer to find the humor in these nonsense calls rather then let them upset me.

google callcentric, they are an internet phone company which let's you block entire area codes, or forward them over to politicians campaign offices who are up for re election or seeking public office!  That's what I did with Clare McCaskill.

until the telephone companies stop sleeping around with the politicians in congress, and we get a Attorney General who doesn't pick and chose the laws they want to enforce, then we will start seeing some relief.  Benghazi is still covered up along with fast in furious.  I will not hold my breath for ANY enforcement action happening this year.  We can't keep terrorists out from invading our border for crying out loud, because heaven forbid we build a border fence, and this is from BOTH parties in Washington.  I would like to see Western Union banned in terror sponsored countries but thanks to congressional gridlock, it is not going to happen. Don't give out any information to these scammers, if you do, you are sponsoring terrorism abroad.  These scum is how ISUS gets there funding.

If you have selective call forwarding DO forward these area codes to law enforcement.  Time for them to protect and to serve.

Garbled voice...was suspicious...said "Listen to this message or be sorry."  I'm reporting it to police AGAIN.  Have blocked calls from this and a similar number before, but phone company said calls using the internet are hard to track and idenify. At any rate, this is scary, and the elderly are prey.

I use google voice for my home phone number and Mr. Number on my cell phone.  None of these calls ring on my phone.  They go to spam and they can leave a voicemail if they want.  They usually don't.  If they call too many times, I change it from they can leave a voicemail to hang up on them.  This way I never get these junk calls.

The rotating spoofed number scam seems to be gaining momentum.  Had a call come in, we ignored it, no message of course.  Literally a few seconds later, this call came in - obviously from the same scumbags.

I will try to be as nice as possible.  I think that it is unwise to use only a debit card.  With a credit card any fraudulent use you are NOT liable, if you have a problem with a product you have remediation through the credit card, you can also refuse to pay for anything that is defective and, finally, they cannot drain your bank account with a credit card, see above.

I get calls al day everyday from this and several other numbers offering to lower my credit card interest rates and or sell me a Fallen and Can't Get Up device?
