Message about student loan relief. I don't have student loans so SCAM. Number blocked.

That is absolutely 100% false. Yes it MAY be spoofed, but all of c-name databases have listings that the name was not obtainable or otherwise with held, that are legitimate.

Last time I checked,  601 is not and Alabama area code (I should know, I live there). Also... I'm pretty sure the NRA has local chapters everywhere (I should know, I'm a member of one).

Received call, likely scam with all these calls. Missed and no voice mail. Going to add to auto reject.

These people are scammers, not the NRA.  On another site the people that were called by this number say it is a credit card and/or student loan scammer calling.  They just called my cell but I don't answer unknown numbers and they didn't bother with a message.

I didn't answer, but all my loans are paid off!

I got a call from this number on April 7,2017 at 12:09. I did not answer and there was no voicemail left. When I called the number back it said it was not a working number. Obviously a scam.

Missed the call. No voicemail. Called it back and got the generic "Verizon wireless, your call cannot be completed" message. Must be scammers. They are rampant these days.

Just called.  ID said Centreville, MS.  No one responded to my hello (twice), so I hit one of the numbers for a tone in their ear if there were there, and hung up.

I picked up phone and hung it back up! I said nothing.

Called back.  Msg. "Hello and thank you for calling.  Press 1 to be put on do not call list.  Guess what folks. That DOES NOT work

They called at 1:50PM hung up without leaving a message, fromw hat I read on here, I doubt if they had a wrong number, another scammer trying to get into everyones wallet.

I said hello three times and they did not say anything to me, just hung up.

Got a call from this # early this morning. No VM left. I did not answer. Highly suspect this is a spoofed number for a scam robocall.

I received a call from this number (area code 601 - Mississippi) yesterday, 4/6/17. I normally hit the voicemail button on numbers I don't know/have stored, however, husband also received a call from exact same number early  that morning and since we have extended family and friends living in South Ms. I answered this call. After a few times saying hello, a computer automated call started directing me to "immediately" call another number regarding "my UNPAID and PAYABLE IMMEDIATELY credit card". If I paid in full that day they would lower my interest rate! I waited until I heard a beep like tone after the automated call stopped spewing pure b.s., I don't currently, nor have I ever, had a credit card in my name, and left a message informing them of the above and that I was turning both numbers over to public officials - Yea, yea I know big threat... I was beyond livid!!
Then again today, 4.7.17 I received a call from Statington, Pa and Kutztown,Pa both automated computer calls stating the exact same as the Hattiesburg, Ms number 601-228-8601.

Interesting call saying my student loans now qualify for a debt relief program. My student loan (A government VA loan after serving in the military.) was paid off 30 years ago.Our two sons who went to college never had a student loan of any type.

Showed up on my cell phone voice mail but left no message.
