Get a phone (panasonic) that allows you to block numbers from bogus callers!

This number called our business today (Saturday) at 1450 hours.  The caller ID said "Brookhaven MS" so I knew it was almost certainly a scam artist.  As we were closed at the time, I let the recorder pick it up.  They did not leave a message.  If they're scam artists spoofing a number, I'm sure they will try, try again.

Call shows from Hattiesburg, MS - probably Brett Favre wanting to get me tickets to his number retirement ceremony.

Received a call from 601-748-4003 on 05/26/2015 at 12:23 PM, the CNAM read as "Wireless Caller." The call was automatically blocked by our PhoneTray software.

My father picked up the phone when it rang; no one answered, so he hung up. Happily, we have caller I.D., so I got to copy it and put it up here. And they're calling as far north as *Canada*?! Long way to go to annoy people!

Hmmm...no calls posted here since May 26?....They're baaaaaack!  Call came in June 9th.  I answered it.....dead silence on other end.  Sure wish MagicJack had Call-Block so I could add this one to the list...

Called today at 15:45.  They're blocked now

Answered the phone, I said Hello.......No response, they hung up after I said hello three times

Didn't answer this am, partly bc my phone was in the trunk. I could hear it ringing, and now glad to know my kids didn't get caught in a pizza oven.

We received a missed call about an hour ago.  No doubt that these are computer calls noting who answers and who doesn't, for future reference.

Just got a call from them. They call my home fax line so I press Accept. The number of unwanted calls have greatly since the fax started picking them up

Called at 9:20 a.m. on a Sunday morning in Alaska nobody  I spoke when I answered.

Calls and calls and nobody ever there.

Our business recently switched over to Comcast for our internet and phone service provider. Ever since then, we have been getting phone calls from various numbers that show up on caller ID as "cell phone and the state abbreviation, or a long distance phone number like the one above". When we answer the call, it is dead air. No one responds. It happens at all different hours of the day. It is probably a "robo" dialer trying to see what phone numbers are being answered and at what specific times.

This is VERY annoying as it is a business and we have more important things to do than answer the phone every 10-15 minutes for a "non-person". This has got to stop!! And just like someone else has said, when you call the number back a recording says, "we're sorry you have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service".

Like I said before, we didn't get these calls before we switched over to Comcast....just saying.
