A legitimate surveyor will not badger, annoy, harass people into taking their survey, which is what these people do.  A legitimate surveyor will know that annoying people into answering the survey will skew the results and produce an invalid survey.

A survey conducted by annoying, harassing, badgering the respondents is not a valid survey. The results are tainted.  Surveys must consist of willing participants.

I also was bothered night after night with calls from Higgingbothom.  I told them to remove my name from their call list and they told me their calls are computer generated and random numbers and they didn't know how to remove me.

In desperation I hollered into the phone "F___ You" many times.  The caller said that's not necessary and I said if you don't like it stop calling me.  I haven't got a call since.

they arent telemarketers you have to remember that and so you just tell them you understand that they arent selling anything but still would like to be taken off their computer systems calling list and ask for their name so if they dont do so the next caller that gets a hold of you you can ask to speak to a supervisor and say that you want to be taken off. I dont think shouting at another person who is simply doing their job needs be yelled at in such an inhuman manner.

just ask to betaken off with an understanding of what they are doing and say you understand but want to be taken off the list make sure they agree and hang up

also not true... waste of time it is but since they do not sell anything they cant be removed its like telling girl scouts they cant help out the community because they sell cookies

if they go all the way to the end then they are willing

try again and actully do some research not just the first page that pops up

I worked at Higginbotham for a year and a half and they are a legit research company.   For those of you who think you are too good to answer the phone, the research is used to determine where to put new stores which create jobs, when to lower prices and when & where to advertise so people like you can learn how to spend your money wisely.

B.S. THEY make a ton of money doing these "surveys" or they wouldn't be in business.  Get real. This does not help me or my community in any way, shape, or form.  I received 3 calls today even after I politely told them I wasn't interested.  I feel sorry for all the "lemmings" who have to do this job.  My deepest sympathies.
