Instead of blindly believing everything you see and hear, did you know that you can actually use the internet to learn things?  For instance, if you put the search words "has anyone ever been actually scammed by saying yes?" in a search engine you will find that it gives no results.  The reason for that is because no one has every actually been scammed that way, and it would impossible to do what people are claiming you can do with that single word.

this is hotels.com they are idiots from India- I asked to speak to a supervisor he said no supervisor I asked to be transferred to US he said you cant I hung up he called back I hung up on him! I had a simple question I made a reservation it said food credit, he didn't see it on his end he wanted to cancel my entire reservation and see if it worked- I said NO its a done deal good rate don't cancel it let me speak to the US!

Received a call from this number shortly after booking a hotel in Orlando on hotels.com I was driving in a bad storm at the time and could barely hear him anyway so I asked if he could call back in an hour. I got a call at 1130pm....im already in bed because of early work. Called 3 times back to back. Seems fishy

Call Expedia for a double charge for a flight while waiting on the line this number call and person hang up

This lady called wanting to know the temperature in the area.  She refused to tell me who she was or where she was calling from.  If this is Hotels.com, they need to teach there employees better phone manners.

Phoenix, AZ number... Called me 5 minutes after I blocked a different Phoenix number.

I called AARP travel ('powered by Expedia') earlier and suddenly I got a call from this number two hours later. Hotels.com! this is why I hate giving away my phone number, they blithely act like it's no problem, that they need it.

I was calling customer support at hotels.com for like the 10th time because I was getting no help from them with gift card refund. They kept saying they had a team in a different department working on my refund and that they would call me back in an hour. And repeatedly they never did l.  I was complaining about this problem and asking to speak to a supervisor when he put me on hold. That's when the local 602 number called. I was on hold so I decided to risk it to see who it was real quick the line was silent and when I switched back customer service had hung up. Something is really shady about this customer service department at hotels.com. they somehow call you from a local number to wherever you are. And that's like their multi-tool to deal with customers you are problematic to them or whatever else suits them

They called me:  It say it is Shane from Expedia, your reservation has been canceled;   but you called back the number is not valid.  I called Expedia and the hotel, they had no clue what I was referring too.  My reservation is confirmed.

Called at 7:45am, I didn't answer.  They left a voicemail saying it was Dennis from Expedia.  He said he was calling back because I had called earlier and the call had been cut off.  I have never called Expedia, and I haven't booked a hotel or flight in nearly a year.  I have blocked the number.

I have a vacation rental listed on HomeAway and their other sites. This number is from scammers trying to get "refunds" for supposed customers. Caller claimed he was from Expedia. He was not.

Received two calls in a row from this number at 9am. I didn't answer but they left a 46-second long voicemail of someone breathing heavily into the phone and other people talking in the background... Super creepy

Hotels(dot)com returning my call about change of reservations. No message left, came here to check the number out before answering again.

Legit if you’ve had travel through any of the discount travel sites. They seem to all route from this extension set.
