They called, and I did book a trip through Expedia. However, this number kept calling me, never once left a voicemail, and they called several times after midnight. If there are any issues with your itinerary then Expedia will email you first. So getting several calls from this number, ESPECIALLY after midnight...I would not answer.

“Online travel” on caller ID. Because my phone blocks all robo calls, I assume it’s not legitimate. For those who think it is, remember, these people spoof numbers, I have had calls that came from my number, I’m pretty sure I didn’t call myself.

She knew my name and got me to say yes. Tried to tell me I have a flight change on Expedia.
I told her that they always email me. She asked my email for security purposes. I told her I would not talk to her.

i tried to cancel my rental car with travelocity. this number called me right after i requested a call back. said press 1 for speak to the representative. then i pressed 1, but this number hang up right the way. i want to know what would be happen in this case

DON"T FALL FOR THEIR CRAP. THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR RESERVATION!
These absolute Low Lives called me three times on two different numbers. This number and 480-401-3863 and claimed my reservation was in jeopardy. The hotel overbooked and now the only room available was a smoking room.
First, I was on the road and the phone number they called was my landline at home so I didn't get the message. Second, my hotel room was booked and everything was fine! I didn't know about the phone call and showed up and had my room.
Third, I made my reservations directly through the hotel I was going too. So I am wondering if Hampton Inn and Suites are selling information out? How is it that these scum of the earth types get our information to begin with?

It called me 17 times in a row last night back to back, starting around 10:30 at night. Yes, I booked thru Expedia, but I’ve had no issues.

Right after I canceled a reservation directly with a hotel in Georgia I received a call from this number.  It was one of those recordings where you don't get to hear the whole thing so I have no idea who they were calling on behalf of.  I booked through American Express, but due to COVID-19 their calls are way backed up and they (AmEx) are supposed to call me back.  No way should ANY hotel clearinghouse have my number.

The caller said that its from Expedia.com. I am worried about it may be scam after read other people reviews I feel much better. Since Expedia.com calling number keeps repeat "Technical difficulties"

Way is it out of service he called me I spoke to them and all the sudden I tried to call them back in their phone is no longer in service how convenient when they stole $300 from me in the name of hotels.com

Agreed, I was at a hotel when I missed 3 calls from
this number but it was a Hotwire hotel I was booked at.. never answered and am not sure what they wanted

If they stole money from you, how can you say the call was valid?! Did you report a fraudulent transaction to your credit card company?

Called,, didn’t answer as number not recognized. There was message left but essentially just nothing on other end then just a faint breath of a person. I had just dealt with hotels.com for refund they handled great. Could be someone spoofing a real number.

Just got a call from this number 3 times in a row this afternoon. I see other people here saying it’s a scammer using the Expedia.com phone #. That could be true but I have no travel planned through any 3rd party services right now. They left a voicemail on 3rd try and it was a 30 second message with just one very breathy “hi”...very strange. I called back just to see what would happen and it was out of service.

It just happened to me. Sounds suspecious and I hung up.
