Just received a phone call on my cell from 1-605-939-2424. Since I have friends in this area code thought maybe one changed a number and wanted to infor me. It was Spanish speaking lady, no idea what she was saying and hung up. Anyway to block such calls? What is the purpose of such calls? Anyway they can tap into your number and charge or run up your usage on phone?

They called me and said that I won 3,000 because of my visa card. they asked for the expiration date and I said "yes it is, a scam" and hung up on them.
