- GypsySame as everybody else though there was a pause while the computer connected the line to the "operator" and after saying "hello" twice, I said, "Last chance to say something before I use the air horn!" He then asked for my husband who has a small business (they got the number from our business license filing) but he was informed we are on the DNC list.

The other companies I have no contact with to share the background on them or their numbers.
Hope this helps so you can program your phone as to who is who.
Remember EBSCO, a related company, can act as either friend or foe, giver, or collector, on different calls. LESTER is usually a friend to help renew a free subscription that you initially signed up for somewhere -- usually online.- Caller: “Lester, Inc.,” also known as “Ceva Logistics, U.S., Inc.”

Number called I missed call called back and blocked number recording said they do not accept unidentifiable calls and to put in a 10 digit number so i made up a number and after a few rings a woman answered. I asked who she was and she said it was the Montoya residence.
Could be a debt collector or someone gathering information for a debt collector.- Caller: Montoya residence?
- JayThis number 6068330105 keeps calling me and does not leave a number or message. We used their Tech Support service once, which was very poor. We started getting these calls after that.
- Caller: LESTER INc.
- JimCalls go to voice mail with no messages left or hangups when answered.
Extremely annoyed to see all the other complaints here that have been going on for years.
Apparently this company just doesn't care and there is no way to stop these calls. - AislingMaybe some more information--the number showed up today on my Caller ID as "Lester Marketing". Maybe traceable/identifiable?
- Caller: Lester Marketing
- DINSKYI got a call from 606-833-0105 and when I called it was said in Spanish first and then for me to give the number that I received the call from. And when I called someone asked me to give the number and then the same number called my job asking for who was in charge of payroll. It seems like I get a call from my cell from different people trying to get money from me and I don't know how they got my cell number. But they will not get any money from me.
- Caller: NOT SURE
- EdCall my phone. I didn't answer it. They didn't leave a message.
- ToddCalled my phone. Rang for about 25 rings... a long time. I didn't answer it.
- Scott replies to hugoHugo you say "Yes you can stop it fill out the FCC complaint form."
Problem is, there are many ways these calls can be coming in, that are not in violation of any law, even the DNC registry.
Do all people read all the terms/policies of every company they buy from, sign up for a drawing with, or receive a free or paid service from?
Most people honestly just click the "i agree to the terms and conditions" box without ever looking at the terms and conditions. Many times these terms indicate that they can have their partner company contact you. Even if they don't, if the telemarketer is calling on behalf of that company, you have already established a relationship with that company which exempts their calls from the DNC Registry.
While there are many call centers and marketers who do violate the DNC registry and other laws, there is no guarantee that this is one of them. - Scott replies to Rick_VirginiaReceived a call today. No message (I don't answer calls I don't recognize the number of)
Called back, received a recording that I have reached Lester, Inc. If you have received a call from us, we are contacting you on behalf of one of our clients. If you would like to receive more information about Lester Inc, press x (I think it was 1), or visit our website at www.lesterusa.com. If you would like to be placed on our do not call list, pres y (I think it was 2)
I pressed y (like I said I think it was 2) the recording said to be added to our do not call list, please leave your name and exact telephone number you wish to have added to our list. If you know the product you were being contacted about please include the product name. Please note that our list is based on telephone numbers and not your name so it is important you include your complete telephone number. Please allow up to 48 hours for your request to be processed.
I proceeded to leave roughly the following message, "You do not need my name, since you already stated your list is tracked by telephone number and not by name. My number is area code <xxx> xxx-xxxx. Please place me on your do not call list. Again my number is xxx-xxx-xxxx. Since you do not leave a message I have no idea what product you are contacting me about. Since this number is on the Do Not Call Registry and I have asked that you place me on your do not call list I will allow a reasonable amount of time, and then if I am contacted by you again, my next communication with you will be through my attorney. Again the phone number to remove is xxx-xxx-xxxx.
So now, I'll give them a few days (they said 48 hours, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt and allow 2 BUSINESS days (monday and tuesday) instead of 48 hours... And I'm adding them to my contacts, so I'll remember the name. So they call me after Tuesday, it's time for a letter from my attorney -- We'll see how it goes. But I figured, give them the number 3 times, - RayThis is another fine example how good the "do not call list" works. Government at it's finest.
- RayMore moochers begging money for the poor. It's that time of year when all the creeps come out begging. I put them on the do not call list, because I have a little spare time. It won't do any good, but it keeps me sharp on my typing skills.
- TLSimply activate CALL-BLOCK preventing this number
- DaveJust like everybody else. Keep getting call from 606-833-0105 and never say anything. How can they sell anything if they don't say anything? This is not the only number that I get calls like this from. I am getting this from 8 other numbers. They are driving us crazy. I don't know about this CALL-BLOCK that TL said to activate. Please tell me how to do this.
