Renewal of a magazine subscription, but called my work number and asked specifically for a person who I know doesn't get magazines sent to the office. I told her no one here is interested and hung up!

Call came in and the girl said she was calling to verify my information for "Skiing Magazine" that I'm subscribed too.  I told her I don't have a supscription to that magazine.  She said "Well we have that you subscribed to it in the past and they wouldn't have us call you if you hadn't....we just need to verify your information to keep sending it to you." I again, told her that not only am I not subscribed to it, but I've never subscribed to it.  She then said, "You've never subscribed to any magazine?"  I told her, no, I said I've never subscribed to that magazine.  She then said "good day" and hung up.

Keeps trying to call for our human resources dept.

Called on 2-20-2012 at 10:30 am. Left no message.

caller i.d. says unknown number
we answered and said nothing
dead silence (we suppose just long enough for their automated machinery to tell them nobody home)
then it hung up and gave a dialtone

Somehow missed this call yesterday. Aw gee, too bad for me! Thanks again for the heads up on why I hate answering the phone.

I've been getting calls from this number daily.  They never left a message.  They called again this morning and I decided to answer to see who it was that wanted to get hold of me so badly.  The guy on the other end was trying to get me to renew my subscription to BILLBOARD MAGAZINE, a music business publication put out by Neilson.  I would guess after reading many other posts here that that's what they do, work for magazine renewals.  Hope this helps

Caller ID states: LISTER INC.  However, doing an Internet search only brought up Lester, Inc. I went to their website & my anti virus software detected all kinds of Trojans on their website, so if you go to their website be careful.

same $hit, different day, different caller. Hang up.

Got a call from this number at my office.  They left no message.

Received calls from this number.  No messages left.  Comes up Kentucky on caller id.  Annoying and harassing.  Going to notify authorities.  Am on DO NOT CALL registry.

AARP is on my s*** list so stop calling!

Received call today from what appears to be a call center (lots of background noise). The caller ID showed up as Kentucky. The woman who called asked to speak to our CEO. I told her he was unavailable so she asked to speak to someone who could renew his free magazine subscriptions. I said no and she said she'd try to call back at a later date.

Every evening for the past two weeks I've been receiving calls from this number. Usually between 630 and 830 pm PST.
Caller ID as only KENTUCKY. No message left.

This is the second time that they have called me this week. I am on the DNC list, they don't leave a message on voicemail. They just hangup.

Apparently a subscription company, calling for a former employee who retired last year.  They wont take NO for an answer;  I've told them previously not to call, as Mr B--- has retired.

This has been a on going call to my cell phone. How do you stop this for gods sake!!
The DNC list just doesnt seem to be the answer to unwanted calls.
