Got a call from 607-795-7579 today and it was the same indian accent, but now his name is "Michael Brown." This is really disappointing in that I DID actually apply for my first (and now after this fiasco it will be the LAST) payday loan online yesterday- and then this boob calls, in addition to a few legitimate loan calls.  I'd be interested to see what he can do with my ss# when my credit is already in the crapper.

Yeah I got a call also saying he was New York State attorney am I was being sued an I better come back. So after 10 calls I didn't answer I called him an said look you scam artist I never been to New York an if you call me one more time I was going to have harassment charges filed on him. He started making threats witch I proceeded to lay into him an call him every name in the book. He then hung up. So I cAlled him back an yelled some an said what don't like people harassing an calling you?

Received same kind of threats from Daniel Wilson stating I would be arrested at my place of employment before noon tomorrow if I didnt pay immediately. The phone call filled with threats and accusations. I eventually hung up and called the local police who informed me that this was a complete scam. I now have to keep record of the phone calls and all the information I can get. Good grief.

"Daniel Wilson" claimed to be from State Legislative...blah blah blah.  Collecting on defaulted payday loans and I was going to be arrested within 48 hours...then 1 hour...at my work!  I panicked and actually verified some personal information and hopefully that won't come back to haunt me.  Very scary!

I am starting to get call from this number from a Michael Brown regarding a loan that I had taken out but when I started asking question he got upset and said in an hour he would have paper served to me and I would be arrested and spend 6 months in jail.  He is calling my work number also.  There has to be a way of stopping this, its annoying.  The scary part is that he has my social security number; I did not verify it when he read it out but it was my number.  This needs to be stopped.

I did not answered and he left me a message saying he was from the attorney general office.  He said his name was Michael Brown and I called the number and it said his name was Daniel Wilson.  I called New Mexico Attorney General's Office and I was told it was a scam.

Daniel from State Attorneys Office left a message on my phone. He stated that there was an outstanding payday loan in my name and that I or my attorney should call him today or that he could not stop what was going to happen to me.  He then proceeded to call me again 20 minutes later and I told him that I had already called the NJ Attorney Generals Office and that I knew that he was pulling a scam and to never call my number again.  He hung up right away.      

I'm a lawyer in Denver.  I have a client who's been harassed by Daniel Wilson.  The first time I called him, he hung up on me rudely when I wouldn't give him my bar number.  Today, months after the first run-in, he again harassed my client, and I called him again.  He said he'll have my client arrested, etc.  I told him to send me his charging papers, and he said he'd send them to my office administrator, but not me.  Strange deal.  I'll repost if I receive anything from him.  He did say he's with the Federal Law Enforcement, whatever that is, and that his mailing address is 60 Center Street, Room 161, New York, NY 10007.
