This guy is still doing it.  I just got a call and I happend to google the phone number and read everyone's messages.     You just can't let your guard down.     Demand answers and if you feel its a hoax, it probably is.  -  hang up on them.    

Mark Wise from NY  claimed to be federal agent.  Said to have a warranty and I needed to call back. This is a hoax.  Ending with "God bless".    Called local police and they said I could file a complaint.   Called number back and only voice mail.  

Yes I got called from this number with an Indian accent. I think he's a scammer.

Received a  voicemail from this number stating " A complaint has been filed under your name with your address so before we take any legal action against you, this is the last and the final notification which we are giving you over the phone call. So please do not try to disregard this message and give me a call back at my direct line number 1-607-795-7579. I am waiting for a call back my name is Officer Zachary Smith from the Federal Investigation Department. Thank you & God bless". All of this with a middle eastern accent.

I have been receiving calls from this number several times. They didn't leave a message. After 4 missed calls or so...they finally decided to leave a message. The message was for my brother and me regarding about some pending allegation against us. I checked their  number online/here...and guessing it's a scam...i called back a few times and cussed their heads out. I then called them back again and leave a very loud noise on their voice mails. Since I have plenty of time to call back...I called back again...and I guess they had enough of me and transfer the voicemail to "sorry....the voicemail box is full".... hahah I will try to call back again and piss them off! oh yeah! how do you feel now Indian accent guy?

I just got same guy heavy Indian accent said he was an officer at federal investigation depth staring someone filed a suit against me and my house tried calling number but quite know busy

I received a phone message stating that I have a complaint against my name and address, and I need to call " Officer Mark White " from " The Federal Investigation Department". This guy also had an accent from India. The name on my caller id said "Gail Holiday.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.

this fool is a scammed wish there was a way to find is home address. so I could go and confront him directly.

same thing. going by the name of Zachary SMITH . Caller ID said this call came from a Gail Holliday 607-795-7579 maybe we should start calling them.

Don't you love the names scammers use? 'Zachary Smith' is from the 1960's series "Lost In Space".

I got the same call twice on Monday the 17th of Nov from the same number, one from Zachary Smith and one from Mark Thomas-- both had heavy accents.  The caller id registered Gail Holiday.  Same general message stated by others on these messages.

This guy Officer Mark Taylor says he wants to talk to me and I better call him back right away. Or I will be arrested. Continues to call my phone and leaved messages. Scam artists, also  hr called a few months ago . I asked to speak to his supervisor again heavy accent. When I realized it was the same voice. I told them they are harassing me and they should be arrested.

Same person called me a few months ago. Left at least 20 messages within a few hours. This needs to stop.

Been getting calls from this # for a while, thanks to sites like this we can resurch and find out about scams like this.

We had a message from this number.  He had a heavy Indian accent and said he was Officer Valkrite or something like that from the Federal Investigation Department (whatever that is).  He said our personal address was filed in a complaint and if we didn't call back they would have to take legal action against us.  Very bizarre! We didn't call back, but instead searched the phone number and found this website.

Called multiple time acting as IRS employee, said sheriff would be at my door shortly, that we owed $25,000.  When I told John that I reported him to the IRS and Fox new he used obscene language and hung up!
