On 3rd attempt, they got through my call blocker.  Probably the 3rd different number.  Left a nasty message when I sent it to voice mail on the 3rd.  Called me "stupid" and "a di*k head".  Last laugh on them.  I now have 3 numbers to block.

This is one of the numbers used by SleepMed Therapy to call patients who are being treated for sleep apnea by one of their physicians. They always leave a polite message with a toll free callback number.  They call a couple of times per year to see if there are problems with the equipment and if replacements for disposable parts are needed.  I just wish Caller ID displayed SleepMed so we would answer.

They have called my business number at least three times and never once left a message or callback number? Nobody at my business has or uses any equipment for sleep apnea.

The person on the other side called Rebecca said she was from a SS office, and needed talk to me.

I think they went around my call blocker with Verizon.  The phone rang once, showing it was intercepted, then rang again six times before going to voice mail.  Thank you for the warning. No message was left.

illegal telemarketer - very poor English and very strong accent

I had the same experience others reported with this number - except the first number & ID to appear was 516-746-6460 Eastern Numismatic then immediately switched over to 608-371-6666 and rang until VM picked up. Caller left no message. I also have NOMOROBO (which I love!) though it seems like these vermin might have figured out how to fool it.

These morons have called 3X today, no msg, first call 8:20 AM. I will now send the number to NOMOROBO to be blocked.

2/27 11:31 PST  Weird string of calls so far this AM.  Last couple of days both land line and on-line have been squirrely.  Must be the weather.

Got a call at 6:15 am this Sunday morning from 800-289-2647, rang 1 time and I think nomorobo grabbed it.  5 secs later phone rang again this time from 608-371-6666 both numbers came up Unavaliable and I did not answer.  On a Sunday at 6:15am!!!!   So mad I could not get back to sleep, makes me want to hunt these f'ers down,

Regarding my previous post above.  Ok, first call from 800 was from Alarm company that monitors my wife's business, which I assume the 2nd number may have been them as well.

This number appears to be part of some method that phone spammers are using to get around blocked calls.  I got a call from 610-915-5214 which is Xlibris Corporation.  It was followed immediately by a call from 608-371-6666 and went to voicemail, where a message was left by someone from Xlibris.  I've had the same situation happen a few times before with calls from various companies that were on my U-Verse block list or else intercepted by NOMOROBO, then immediately followed by calls from the same companies using this same number.  Apparently these companies have a way of making their calls look like they came from 608-371-6666 when their phone systems detect that their own number is blocked in some way.  I suspect they are using some sort of service that does this for them.

Got a call from 608-371-6666 tonight. It first rang once and then clicked into that number. I also use NOMOROBO and, somehow, this call got through. Now using Verizon block in case they call again. It doesn't ring at all with Verizon block but only allowed 10 calls to come through. Thanks to everyone who posted on here. Together we will put down these creeps.

3/17 13:25 PDT Called while I was on another call, which I didn't interrupt.  Once finished glad I hadn't flashed because no ID and hang up on voicemail.  Who or whatever this is, can't be too important if they won't identify themselves or leave a message.  I too had a call that was blocked by NOMOROBO immediately before this one came thru.  My rule these days is never answer anything you don't recognize or aren't expecting.

i too have nomorobo as of a month ago. this service saved my sanity! at least these spammers only get one ring, before nomorobo grabs them, instead of the 5 rings before my answering service picks up.

in the last hour i had two calls from 707 741 3218, then this call from 608 371 6666. nomorobo identified them both as scams, and shut em down. today seems to be an active day for scammers for some reason.

keep reporting the numbers that get thru on 800notes and directly to nomorobo dashboard!

This number show up in a call after a 262-000-0000 is attempted. It actually is from a Doctor's office my wife sees. Very weird.

This call was supposedly on behalf of "Spotless Window Washing", which, in Austin Texas is a local company that I've never used, and now would not consider using.  The guy calling did know my name -- I don't let them get far enough to find out if it's really this company (I may do that the next time), but I'll definitely file an FCC complaint.  

Some bozo with a foreign accent called me saying he was from Microsoft and wanted to fix my computer. He became noticeably irritated when I told him I couldn't understand much of what he was saying. He told me he needed me to logon to my computer so he could fix it. I refused telling hiim I would do it through tech support. Then he shouted at me and asked me why did I need to do that and I shouted back telling him that Microsoft is ending their support, and asking him why they would be calling me. He tried to convince me that they are not ending their tech support and shouted some more. Then he threatened to shut down my PC. I then introduced him to "Mr. Click!"

From what I seen it was first a call from 608-371-6666 then a call from 423-648-4908 Wilkins research. No message on eather call. Just hang ups. These people who even would think to take a job like this are the lowest part of life. Even people that use robots to do there calling for them. All its doing is making people in some cases get rid of their phones at their homes. And that will cause jobs at phone companies that also wants to charge you more to keep your number unlisted its cheaper not to have a phone. It's just like bill collection. I don't own anything to anyone they just call numbers at random using robots or just taking a chance the number that's called is who they are looking for.
