Will never pick up such calls.  Legit people leave a message, although some are stupid enough to do the same.  If I don't answer, It'll be better for me cause I will truly tell them where to go.  Then I will ask them why they pull these stunts.  Then I will tell them to make tentuplets with the Master Baiter.  Then they will be told to take it to the Devil, and stay with him!  Why won't anyone take these nonsense makers to the downtown headquarters?

This  number is NOMOROBO and they are calling you and/or allowing the first call thru because they are not robo calls. That is why some many different companies get thru using that number.

This number is the number displayed by nomorobo when somebody uses their 'i am not a robot' manual option.  Again--this number belongs to nomorobo.

Received yet another call from this number today at 5:15p.m. As usual, the call wasn't answered and the caller left no message. This is obviously a scammer. Caller ID shows Janesville WI.

Same thing (piggy backed call)...Received a call from this number in the past. A woman started asking questions about medicare.  Just blow a high pierced whistle into the mouthpiece and then tell them "now you need it"

1st call came through without a caller ID and then stopped, received call again this time with the #. didn't pick up.

Today. . . It's a computer-scam.

These Scammers are using a variety of Scams from this number.
You will never get any legit calls from this number, Never answer or talk with them.

Caller appears to be spoofing NoMoRobo number, 608-371-6666.   This number shows on the display, but when I call it, I get NoMoRobo, which wants to know which number I am reporting...
Wasn't sure what to do since it was their number.

Called multiple times last two days. Got through nomorobo by calling back right away twice. The message the leave is asking for the person in change of the electric bill. Trying to sell their electric rate.

Received a call from 608-371-6666 and the male called said he was from Bank of America, looking for somebody in charge of financial department.  I checked this website and found this number has being Social Security Office, sleeing company, etc.  Definitely a scam.

Received 3-4 calls today from this caller.  This number is not being captured by Nomorerobo.

This is the second time I've noted that we receive a call from this number immediately after one ring from a local real estate agent (I recognize the agent's name and know he calls around).  My Nomorobo allows live callers to enter digits to prove they're not robo callers, so I've wondered if this is what he does and then this number shows up on Caller ID with the Janesville, WI association.  Aside from being able to spoof numbers and IDs (a service audaciously offered on-line), there's finger-pointing over who is responsible for maintaining a data base of correct identifications.  Many of us in my community receive a mix of legit and questionable calls that display UMASS MEMORIAL.  The businesses and the residents of private lines to whom this happens are surprised to hear that they are misidentified, and can't seem to get it corrected.  Anyway, I love our Nomorobo!

This is a number used by Nomorobo. When a live agent on the other end punches in the code, it rings with this.

This comes in as a robocall "blocked" number, then immediately rings back with the 608-371-6666.  Never leaves message.  Calls about twice a week

Daniel, who wants to know my name and my age. Calls me his baby and boyfriend. And laughs at me when I get angry and tell him to remove my number. Says he doesn't care about the laws and wants to know my Facebook account. Kept him going for 20 minutes and wouldn't get off the line unless I hung up. Had another person listen in on a landline. It was absolutely hilarious taunting him into breaking so many laws.

Also says that he was an officer and senior official at the FBI. He was calling from New York.

608-371-666 is a scam call associated with TEAMRYAN. Fundraisers working for Paul Ryan in WI claiming to be the IRS so they can steal your money to fund the Paul Ryan super PAC. Do not give your money or support to Paul Ryan who is traitor to all his  constituents including the entire USA.

Here's why you're getting calls from 608-371-6666 (NOMO):

To ensure that we don't block important calls made by humans, when a suspected robocaller calls you, we answer the call and play the following message to them:  Click HERE

If the caller successfully enters the random number (technically called a CAPTCHA), we send the call back to you but we change the Caller id to 608-371-6666 (NOMO). If we didn't do this, the call would get caught in an endless loop.

Here's an example. Let's say that Shady Charity, Inc is making some calls to ask for donations. Their phone number is 800-555-0100 and, of course, it's blacklisted. When they call, they'll hear the message asking them to type in a random number but, since they have live people making the calls, they're able to get through.

You'll first get a call from 800-555-0100 and then it will stop after one ring (because we answered it). After a slight delay (while the worker types the random number) you'll get another call (it'll be the same Shady Charity worker) but this time, the Caller ID will show as 608-371-6666.
