Just had this happen to me my phone didn't ring but I had a message I answered it I live person came on ask for my last two social gave me another phone number to call I called that number another person came on told me to get on hold then they came back repeated my name my address and my social security number I don't know how they got that information I believe this is a scam so be aware

Received voicemail with same dialogue as everyone else, didn’t hear the kids in background but I don’t have the best hearing. It’s a shame that so many people work so hard to scam honest folks out of what they have earned. I didn’t call the number back.

Voicemail left on phone was from a Jackie and I am not sure if she said AM or EM but the voice to text transcript is pasted below.

Did not have kids in the background.

A woman left me a message saying her name was  Amanda Connor, that she was calling from Student  loan services, that I needed to call to discuss my student loans, that owe student loans and they’ve been  and the call ended.... But, actually there’s a woman named Amanda that keeps calling me to hack me this is my new number. I just changed it and I don’t know how she got my number, she’s been calling me every single day from a different number and calls me David B. Or Sydney. But David B. is a former co-worker that use to work for the same government Agencies I used to work for. Sometimes she says I have her boyfriend just to keep me on the phone long enough to hucke me. So I do believe she is also collecting contact information when she gets into your phone. I think I know an individual that is connected to this group and I Called the police to report and I was told that it was not against the law for them to do what they are doing. And the officer told me he was not a cyber police to call the FBI. I informed the officer that I had called the FBI and I was told to call my local sheriff  and they would give me guidance. He said he did not know what to tell me. But Just go talk to him. And figure it out. I said if I had to talk to him it would not be pretty! And then he said well, what do you mean? ( Sad that the majority of the police is not trying to help you, it’s  only waiting  till a crime is committed to act. There’s a very small amount of officers that take their job serious and help the citizen. I will say I have met great officers in my town and I have met trash too. Customer service Extends to all services).

Never call back these numbers, that’s what they want you to do.

I had the same phone call today. Exact same verbiage except the name they used was Alexa instead of Katie. Also the phone number has changed. It is now 612-254-8756

Same thing, exactly as everyone is saying. Different number, and the name was Brittany. But loud background, very fast talking until she said the phone number. Of course. Said someone was out and failed to get me to sign papers and if I didn't answer the second attempt I would be considered "failure to comply". Scam.

Same call and they had my name but not my married name so it's been different over 10 years. Idk I know people work from home but I call bs this is a scam call in my opinion.

Same as above only message I received says Her name is crystal 🙄

I just got the call too

Only called and left no message, googled the number and I found all of this, definitely a scam.
