- shark12Congratulations! You've been selected to receive a free cruise to the Bahamas. You've heard correctly, it is a cruise to the Bahamas for two people and like most cruises, all the expenses are included. The Scientific Survey Company would like for you to participate in a short survey, and at the end of the survey, you will be awarded your cruise. Press one now to start the survey and receive two complementary cruise tickets. To decline the survey and be removed from our list, press nine.

- ToastCalled at 1020AM. Hung up when I answered the phone. Called it back, got a Verizon Wireless(my cell carrier)message that said the number had either been changed, disconnected or is no longer in service..
- Ashley replies to Mike| 6 repliesSame here! I have been on the Do Not Call registry for years and reported this right away. It was a robo-call that said "Congratulations, you've just won a FREE cruise to the Bahamas!" and continued to tell me "like all cruises" it's all expenses paid - all I have to do to claim my prize is complete a short survey! Yeah right!!!
- LynnThere was dead silence when I answered the 9:23 am call. When I dialed the number back it was a Verzion message saying the number has been changed, disconnected or is no longer in service. Someone must have an app that allows you to input any number to display to the recipient.
- Caller: Verzion

- Tamianth replies to Kristine Redman800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.
Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

- ABCCalled my mobile number and did not leave a message.
- TJCall came in on my Cell, a Voice on the other end said Hello... My response triggered the 2nd part of the recording and I realized the intro was automated as well
It claimed I'd used their service ( I forget what it was, but I know I never used it) and that because they did not give me some 'reward' I was now entitled to a Free Trip, IF I Paid for a Rental car and Listed Hertz and Avis. It proceeded to ask if I had a credit card, but when It could not register my Belch as an affirmative it asked repeatedly... after a few tries it apologized and Hung up
-- a re-call was met with the Verizon Boiler plate of "This number has been changed or disconnected."
a day or two prior I'd received the same call on my land line, and I hung up (w/o Caller ID i do not know if it came from the same number) but it was the same message... having received it on Both Numbers, and the fact I rarely if ever give both numbers to the same Entity, is why I listened to the second call
if i had to guess I'd assume it is fishing for CC#s and that had I obeyed, they would have charged me for the Rent-a-Car, claiming that it needed to be pre-paid and then my 'free trip' tickets would get lost in the mail
