The number gas called me twice now both around 9:30 am while I'm in a class so I can't answer it and it didn't leave a message.

No one responded to a hello

Called at 12:06PM and woke me up (I work a night job). No message was left. Haven't tried to call the number back yet but based on the other comments seems like scam posing as Verizon. My phone is issued from Verizon but I'm not the primary account holder or even an authorized user so there is no reason for Verizon to be calling me.

Called this morning on my cell and woke me up. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the number or I wouldn't have answered. Since there has been a death in my family and I was expecting a call from a relative about the arrangements, I just answered right away. There was a woman telling me I had been "chosen to win" - I don't know what since I hung up in disgust at being bothered by these scumbags who prey on innocent people.

Same issue as noted above.  They've called me many times and do not leave a message.  This time I answered and immediately got the robot and the "Free Cruise" message others have been reporting.  I let the message finish and then attempted to call them back.  Number is being spoofed and you can't call it back.  I am also on Do Not Call so this one doesn't care.

It was a call for a time share.  This obviously is a spoofed number.  I would like to consign these idiots to a hell where the phone never stops ringing.

brand new cell phone from Virgin Mobile, have not given number out to ANYONE and this
was first called received.  Annoyed they would sell my number to telemarketers to waste purchased minutes.

Phone rang, did not recognized the number, didn't answer, no message left on do call list, lot of good that does.

Called again 05/11/2015 1:27 pm no answer no message... nothing on other end. then disconnected.

I got this call and mistakenly answered it.  It said I had won a Cruise to the Bahamas, and I hung up.

Called me. No message. Not calling back

Received a call from this number on my mobile phone. Did not answer.

Got a call on my CELL number (that I don't give out to very many people at all). I blocked my phone number and called them back. Got a recording saying that this was a "Verizon" number but it was disconnected or no longer in service. Oh really?!?!? That was quick. I received a call from it just 5 minutes earlier.
    I get so sick of dealing with this kind of junk. Wish there were a way to get rid of this problem. At least caller ID helps to screen calls. Remember the old days when you didn't have a way of knowing who was calling before you answered?!? How did we deal with that? Haha.

I get the same thing.  They seem to call right before my Verizon bill is due.  My bill is never past due and always paid on time so I do believe this is some kind of scam.  I was talking to a customer rep at Verizon and mentioned something to him and he said they would not call from a strange number.  I have had different numbers come up at times identifying themselves as Verizon.  Definitely some kind of scam.......

Caller hung up when I answered.  I called the number back and the mechanical voice indicated it was Verizon.
