I received a call regarding my Mom from State info services...it freaked me out. It seems to be a scam for debt collections that don't exist. I Do plan on answering their call and informing them that this call is being recorded and will be forwarded to the Massachusetts States Attorney General Office...  

Got this on my answering machine.  " this is the IRS, Brenda Hayes please return my call at 1 855 807-3211 and reference number 197848"  I did not call back.  The caller ID said "Estate Info Services" with a phone number listed above.

I do not plan on calling them back. I have not received anything from the "IRS".

This is definitely a scam.  I received a call today from this number and it said it was regarding information about my ex husband's estate.  He is not even dead.  Do not return call.

I had a message on my answering machine when I got home from work. They were asking about my husband's uncle who died recently.  I didn't call back.  Later the same day they called asking about my husband,  who is still alive and owes no debt. Morons.  They wanted me to give them his social security #.  Not in a million years. What a bunch of dorks.

No message.  I got 2 calls a week apart, no message on  my cell.  Seems they like cell phones from the previous callers messages!

Receive a call every few weeks from Estate Information Services asking for me as they where advise I was handling my mother's estate. My passed away last year and we did not set up an estate. Don't really know how they got my number or whythey are calling. I don't answer and I don't call back as I figured it was a collector or scam, one in the same to me.  

Got a few calls from them on my cell.  Usually it's a hang up.  Twice they left a call back number 877-355-9771 and a reference number but no information as to why they were calling.  I don't call back people or companies I don't know.  From seeing all these replies, I won't be calling the, didn't plan on calling them anyway, like I said, they didn't give any info and usually they just hang up.

they left message similar to above about who was handling the estate of my recently deceased 21 year old child...did not return their call.

The people called my cell phone today asking who was handling my newly deceased mother's estate.  Told the guy DO NOT CALL MY CELL PHONE.. I'm reporting this to my attorney

Sorry for your loss.  Lost my son who was 34 four years ago a now my mom.  Peace and blessings to you.  I hope they shut the people down

I got a call today, he said that he represent the City Bank to collect my credit card payment. Be aware this SCAM!

This is a debt collection agency attempting to collect unpaid debts from family members of the deceased. They called my mother regarding my father's debt, and also called me on my cellphone! How disgusting; they need to leave the grieving families alone.

This is interesting.  I can only think of one way that I received this call.  Google must have sold/provided my info to this company or a parent company.  My family is trying to set up a trust for the children, so I was looking at a lot of youtube videos and doing searches through Google.  Not once did I click on a link or ad image.  That is how Google makes some of its money though, it's right there in their agreement.  You've seen it before, you're looking up shoes in Google, then you visit a news site but lo and behold, right in their little ad section are shoes for you to buy!  The news site has full access to your info.

To let others know, I was looking up these things Suze Orman, Asset Protection, Revocable Trusts, Living Trusts.

These people are scums.  They called my kids on there cell phones 10 days before Christmas to upset them about a bill that was owed from there grandfather who passed away.  My phone number is listed everywhere in the probate courts as to who is handling and also my attorney.  When I called them they said they do a nationwide search to try to get ahold of me.  He must be new.  I am listed in the probate courts.  Also on top of everything else the court rejected there bill.  They did not file in time with the courts.  When I told them this, They want me to send them court papers that it was rejected.  Hey, Do you want me to do your job too.  Its the holidays DO YOUR JOB do a nationwide search again.  Does anyone want to do there job anymore.  If you really are from Estate Information Services look it up.. Its  Public Information.  Advice:  Block there number.
