number doesn't leave message

Got a call from the number - had a disagreement with the guy - refused to provide other contact info for my mother unless he would disclose who he was - he refused to.

Says, please hold for an important call. I hung up after all of those scams about connecting you with long distance phone numbers...

I don't pick up unknown numbers on my phone just because I don't want the hassle with solicitors or scammers etc.  So I didn't pick up when I saw the number.  They didn't leave a message.  I figure if they really need to get ahold of me, they can call back and leave me a message.

I've gotten four calls from this number today and three yesterday (Sunday). This is after a week of phone calls from other numbers with the same M.O. No message, and I'm not answering. I wish they would leave a message, so I knew what they were calling about.

has been calling for the last couple of months. sometimes 2-4 times a day. we do not answer and never get a message left

Asked me for details about who I am.  I told the lady I would not give out any information and they should know who they were talking to since they called me.  She would not tell me the company she was calling from unless I could verify who I was.  I told her I was not giving out any information and if it is so important that someone speak to me then they could call back.  So far no one has called back.

its a credit card company......like for ann taylor cards.....did you pay your bill?

We had seen this number on our caller ID several times but no messages were ever left.  My husband finally answered early in the morning on a Sunday.  A woman with an Indian accent asked for me by my first name and when he asked who was calling she hung up.  It freaked us out a little so we started researching the number on the internet.

Another site had WFNNB listed under this number.  If you have a credit card with this bank that may be where this is all originating.  I haven't used this card in 2 years.

i don't have an anne taylor card.....

I'm having the exact same problem.  The calls have been coming for over a month.  Every day (even Sunday) starting at 8 in the morning and sometimes even lasting until after 9 at night.  I refuse to answer them and there is never a message left.  Does anyone know how to block a number from calling?

Called five times did not leave message.I answered the phone once they hung up.

This is WFNNB. They are a harassing bank which handles credit cards for companies like Eddie Bauer. I'm getting 20 + calls a day, 2 every hour within ten minutes then another hour passes, and another two calls.

I am late on a $25 monthly bill for a $250 balance on my Eddie Bauer card. I've already told these rude [***] that I will pay the debt by 12/21 .. I'm late because my husband took a new job, and its been FOUR WEEKS since we got a pay check because the new company pays every two weeks, and is two weeks behind so basically, he had to work a month before he'd get his first check. A car accident has left me unable to work at least for now, and all the money we have is what's in the bank so yeah.. I opted to skip one month on bills and wait until his new job started to pay him so that we could I dunno.. buy food?

Our other creditor's were all understanding, and have not called and harassed us. Just WFNNB, who call twice every hour. And there's no one there. The phone is dead silent, then a dial tone.

This is nothing but pure harassment.   I called THEM to explain that the payment would be late, and why...  was told at the time it was no problem, thank you for letting us know etc etc.    And then, 2 days after the payment date.. the calls start.   There is NEVER anyone there, just silence then a dial tone!    This is nothing but consumer harassment!

I'm going to pay off the card in full, then cancel it. I will not do business with Eddie Bauer again, I will not spend so much as a dime in their stores if this is how they're going to treat their customers. $25 that is a whooping two weeks late and they have been calling and harassing me every day from 8 am to 9 pm.

This is a call from a credit card collections department - for cards from places like Dress Barn. As soon as you are late with a payment on a card, they start calling. There's several numbers associated with them. This has happened to me before when I was a bit late with a payment, and that's what I found out. So if you are up to date on your payments, it may be worth your while to hear them out to see why they are calling so you can get whatever is wrong fixed so it doesn't affect your credit rating. With all the identity theft going today, you have to be careful. You may not have opened an account with them, but someone else may have.

This bank/collection agency calls for a lot of different store and catalog company credit cards.
Some are: Lane Bryant, Bryant Homes, Woman Within, Romans, Old Pueblo Traders, Bedford Fair, Willow Ridge, Lew Magram, Monterey Bay Clothing, Jessica London, Chadwick, Bargain Catalog and the list goes on.

I don't own any credit cards of that sort. Someone just called and when my answering machine picked up they put music on. I'd say that was harassment wouldn't you.I have their number on my caller ID so if they keep calling, I will call the Federal Trade Commission and the telephone company. I don't give a damn who they think they are, I know the collection laws.It only cost $1.00 to trace a number in Massachusetts. All they need is 3 harassing phone calls to press charges against them. Then they will see who is collecting who's money.JERKS

this place is worse than a stalker, they have called me 10 times in one day. The one time i did pick up a recording requesting i hold. why should i hold if they are calling me. They call constantly, i do have an account with Lane Bryant & do realize i fogot to pay the bill. Are they really this hard up for money that they have to harass customers. i am going to pay this bill off so i never have to deal with them.
