Call from the Fred Thompson Campaign. No one there when phone answered . Very annoying

No message when I answered, followed by a disconnect. I determined phone number after dialing *69. The automated AT&T voice reported that the calling number was 615-349-9441.

They just called me too. Could hear noise in the background, but no one spoke. Then a click and disconnect. If this is from Fred Thompson's campaign, I definitely will not be voting for him. This is poor compaign strategy for sure. If you want folks to vote for you, you gotta speak up. Right?

Called at 2:23 pm, 14 Sept 07. No response when I said "Hello." Called the number. The greeting was for the Fred Thompson campaign, saying "We're sorry we missed you." Oh, Yeah? You hung up on me when I answered, bozo!

I didn't answer it.  But it figures that politicians don't include themselves in the Do Not Call Registry.

Second hangup call this week. I say "hello", there is momentary silence on the line, then hang up. I am certain they know the phone has been answered. Are these people being paid by the call or on some sort of quota or something? What a nuisance!!!

Unknown name, I did not answer. Called the number back and recording says it's "friends of Fred Thompson" and they will be calling me back. I don't think so as I added them to my blocked number list!

This number is from a firm who makes calls for politicians of all parties, and for political/fundraising causes.

Won't leave a message, no one answer's when you say Hello

I have had repeated calls from this number...up to 2/day.  Today, I took the phone to my hubby, who they keep asking for but will leave no message, and the person hung up before I got the phone to hubby.
I sleep only a few hours at night, so take a nap during the day when possible.  I detest being awaken by such phone calls as this.  Totally annoying!

This number is on my caller ID several times a week.  They don't say anything and then the phone will disconnect.

I just filed a complaint at donotcall.gov
