another unwanted call

Rec'd phone call earlier asking for Mrs --.  Listened to the lady and knew immediately I didnt want to be a part of it - so like MOST people whom call me when I'm at home doing my thing I put the phone down and went about w/my business.  They went on and on for 4 minutes before noticing no one was listening on my end...Lets all do this and drive them crazy about bugging us home with our families.

They called me 5 times this week and asked for a Benjamin with my same last name. I don't know a Benjamin. I tell them not to call me back again.  I'm 84 and don't want scarry calls.  I'm afraid someone is trying to stalk me or find out when I'm not home and rob me.  My daughter talked to them today and told them "Benjamin" does not live here. Asked his name and the name of his company.  Would not identify himself. This is wrong. My husband died four years ago and I don't know who Benjamin is. I do want to vote for Fred, but enough is enough.  Say what you are calling for. Maybe I can talk for myself.

She asked for someone who doesn't live here.  I told her that, and was told that she would make a note of that.

I'm on the Do not Call list also.  And I'm for Hilary!

Calls me in Mississippi and hangs up when I answer. I receive calls about 3 times a week from this telephone number. The calls are between 7- 9:30 pm.

According to another website, these are calls from an automated calling service that dials several numbers at the same time, and when the first one picks up, the other numbers are cut off. Campaigns and telemarketers use these services and hire a couple of workers to answer the phone or play a recorded message as opposed to hiring many individual workers to save money...ergo, dead lines when you pick up and answer.  I wonder if the ones who hire this service even have a clue how annoyed and angry they are making the people they are trying to win over?!  I personally get these these to the point that my family members have it memorized. What amazes me is some of these candidates are not even from our state!  Also, beware of other of these kinds of services can be hired by anyone, and ask personal questions and information you should never give out over the phone.

Called at 7:45 on a Friday.  I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.  Just plain annoying.  If this a political campaign they sure won't get my vote!

Called me at 8:12 a.m. on a Saturday morning.  Open line and hung up after I said hello several time.

Maybe you're not a Republican

I have received several calls from this number.  When I answer, no one speaks.  When I don't answer, no message is left.

From Fred Thompson Campaign. Received first call @ 8:53AM told them not to call back. Received second call @ 9:03AM, same number on caller I.D. Told lady calling that I had just told them not to call back and if they did I would report Fred Thompson for making harassing phone calls, was asked to confirm my phone number and told it would immediately be added to their "Do Not Call List", so far so good!!!!!!!!!!

Reported and fined?? Must be kidding...He is a politician.

Just be thankful all the presidential candidates don't call!!!!
BTW...those of us that are taxpayers are paying for these phone calls!!!

If you haven't gotten a mailer from "The Friends of Fred Thompson", you probably soon will. NOW FOR THE REVENGE!! There is a postage paid "Rapid Response" envelope inside. If you use a first-class stamp instead, you save them NEEDED money. LICK THE S.O.B AND SEND IT BACK !!! Let them pay postage.

Geeeeeez before you vote for Hillary (or any other Dem) you should take a good look at Michigan!!! A state that is ruled by Democrats and has high welfare rolls, & such high taxes and rediculous regulations that keep driving all the businesses to other states, & has the highest unemployment in the country!!! And now Grabyermoney Granholm the Democratic governor who just threatened to close down state government until she got more taxes out of the out-of-work voters has gotten her way again, I guess she plans to suck the middle class who still have jobs dry to the bone.  And the Presidential Dem candidates are already telling us they are going to do the same thing but on a bigger scale - to the whole country - have mercy please! Did you hear Hillary last week, her health care plan will ONLY cost Americans 10 BILLION A YEAR!!! I think thats cuz they are gonna do an extraction operation on every American citizen's wallet!!! I hope Mitt Romney gets the Rep nomination, the state (Mass.) where he is Gov. is the only state in the USA that every citizen has health care - because of him (he's a Rep but he works well with the Dems too) & healthcare doesn't cost them an arm,a leg and a small child.  It would be nice if he could bring health care to the whole country at a reasonable cost too. So if you want to experience taxation to the maxxation don't vote for a Dem Prez, just move to Mich and you can experience what the PAIN would be like having all the Dems in charge.  Somebody help us cuz Granholm, Levin and Stabenow and all the other moneysucking Dems are killing us here.  Also the Dems are talking about bringing back the draft and sending our girls too, please don't let it happen to this country.
