- GregCalled my cell phone 3-3-10 at 6:35PM. I ignored and they left no message. Been gettings lots of weird calls about credit cards.
- STI have a Verizon cell number and I too am from Wyoming. I have no accounts that any of these bozos would be interested in as I'm a student. To begin with, it doesn't matter whose # it is, computers will generate phone numbers infinitely until a random one is a go! Regardless, everyone here is on the right track. My Verizon bud- yes, let's block 'em. Others, get the word out about this site. It's nice to know that we can go and check out if a # should get a returned call/not! Unfortunately, for every 100 people they call, they'll probably get someone who will give them their # and maybe even more info.. Rule of thumb, if you didn't initiate the call, don't answer the questions! Demand to speak to the supervisor and tell them you want their business license # and you are going to report them to Consumer Protection Agency as well as to your local police enforcement for harassment. It works EVERY time- if you don't get hung up on first!

- mmbGot a call on my cell phone. Recording said that they could help lower my interest rate on my credit card to as low as 6%. I pressed 1 and was connected with a man named Jason. When I asked which card they were calling about, he hung up. Tried calling the number back...there is a recording stating that if I want to unsubscribe, I should press "1." I stayed on the line another 30 seconds or so and the recording continued with this: that if I want to speak to a sales rep, hang up and call 616-555-1234.I called that number : is not in service. Definitely a scam.

- Bob JonesI work at this place. Beyond all the people we upset by telemarketing, we actually help a lot of people as well. These banks are taking main street to town... lowering limits and raising rates for no reason. Yes we charge for our service, generally between 5 and 30% of what we save you in interest the first year, a one time fee. We are in FL and are by no means a scam. The scam is the banks that we help you with. We are fully accredited with the BBB and have helped 1000's of people since we started in 2007
We don't touch credit scores and you get to keep your same accounts... debt consolidators lock you into residual payments, close all your accounts and your credit is toast after their done with you. Our program is the best out there... if you are paying over $1200 a year in interest alone we can show you savings.
As for the soliciting of random numbers, not so much... every number we call has been provided to our lead source at one point by the owner... online surveys, mall raffles, insurance quotes etc. Always read the fine print before you give your number out.- Caller: card services

- RebeccaSeem to get two or three calls a month from various unknown numbers, including this one. They are all from the same company and begin with a recording: "This is Rachel from Cardholder Services..." before I hang up. If I don't pick up, they never leave a message. They are extremely irritating. If I didn't purchase whatever it is they sell after the first six months of this, what makes them think I will reconsider if they keep calling from a different number? I have stopped answering calls from numbers not in my area code.
