I do not answer unrecognized numbers.  This number has called me repeatedly, earlier and earlier.  First 8am, then 7:30, then 7am and this morning it was 6:30am!!! This morning I finally answered to tell them to cut it out.  A middle eastern accent asked "Is this Schwerma?"  I've never heard of anyone named "Schwerma" but I hollered at them to never call me again.  I doubt it will work.

I have received about ten calls from this number, I never hear anything when I answer.  I say hello, several times and shortly, maybe five or ten seconds later I hear a hang up.  Perhaps NSA could tell us who they are, or maybe not.  

[***] did the same thing to my mother, they didn't get what they wanted...   The police and bank have the scammers info now!!   If you get a call like this call your local police and notify your bank.  Also notify your local TV stations so they can put it on the news!!!!  Why can't these scum bags get a real job.  They are going to hell for sure!!!
DON'T GIVE OUT YOUR SOCIAL OR BANK NUMBER TO ANYONE......

Received this same call,just hung up on them,.

617 284 1955 called twice saying he was calling for Medicare saying he needed to update information when questioned he hung up.   Scammer with foreign accent

claimed to be from ss office and wanted bank info, stated his was checking medicare card info to send out new ones.

Got the same scam phone call this morning wanting bank info. When I told him no I wouldn't give him any of the info he told me they'd cancel my card. I told them go ahead, I'll sick my lawyer on you and he hung up.
Not one to give out any info to anyone on the phone these days.

received 5 sucessive calls 11/15/13 from heavy indian accent male advising that our medicare coverage was being cancelled and needed new banking info for new medicare card;he already had much personal information on us and checking account. i reported these calls to new government fraud hot line for their action(????).

Called before 7:00 am.  Woke me up.  

A man with a very heavy accent called from "Medicare" wanting to verify my address so he could send me a new card.  He called me by name, and the address he had was my former one which I had moved from 3 yrs. ago.  That tipped me off.  When he asked for my new address I refused to give it to him and told him Medicare had my correct information, thank you, and I hung up the phone.
