I got this call yesterday and today but the message is for someone I don't even know.  Called back yesterday and finally got thru to someone and told him and then it got quiet and he hung up on me!!  I have just blocked this number from my phone.

I keep getting calls from this company and at one point I got a hold of a lady there who threatened me using obscenities and more. They do, however, have my social security number and she kept trying to verify that it was me. I called every agency I could and was told it was a scam and that I should put a fraud alert on my credit reports. Why wont someone stop these people since they clearly do pick up their phone.

Got the same message about lawsuit and to contact attorney call came from Massachusetts. They used my maiden name and they had the last 4 of my social .I did not provide them with any info and called the police

Where the hell did this call come from? Who are these people? As everyone else on here I got the same message. I tried to call it to get further info and it went around in a circle. They used my maiden name which i haven't used in years. So that was a red flag to me saying I have a restraining order under me. BS is what this is.

The recorded message was for someone named "Jeanine ******". I had gotten calls for her on my home phone, explains that I didn't know anyone by that name. I moved and only using cell phone now and just got a call from this number. I told the woman on the line she had the wrong number and I did not want any further calls or I wold report it to phone company.  I used no bad language etc.    She went off like a rocket and said " don'give me a bunch of sh*t. And when I tried to tell her I was just stating the facts she threatened to put my number back in the system!!!!  

What legitimate company would even have someone of this caliber working for them?  Does anyone know to whom I can report this?

I received a prerecorded call today from 617-600-4177 near Boston, MA.  I live in Mississippi. The recording stated that a Civil Suit and a Restraining Order had been filed against me. They gave the Affidavit/Claim Number and Phone number. Said to have my attorney call the number. I had to appear in court too. This surely cannot be legal. You must be served in person. If it is a debt then they can mail you. Looks like a lot of folks are getting the same recording as well. They even called my ex-wife and repeated the same message using my name at the very same time I was listening to this message. She called me a soon as the call ended. By the way the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY IS DOWN right now due the government being down.

The DNC is only for telemarketers who sell goods and services. These type of calls are a whole different matter and call for different reports to be filed. And yes, federal sites are down.. RTC,FCC & DEA among them, so when ever they are back up and running, make sure you file there also. Meanwhile, the others on a State level and FBI should be working..

Please do file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,FTC & FCC..

Received a phone call from this number threatning me with a supenoe and lawsuit from Wells Fargo Crdit card/Wachovia Bank ..I have never had a card through them, when I told them this, I was told tough! Tell the judge and hung up on!

2nd call same threating message  .Calling attorney general Monday

told me it was a scam and to not answer the call anymore

I was notified from my daughter, that this number called and left an automated message,  (same as everyone else's) at my Ex husband's home in OR, using my ex husband's last name which I have not used for over 13 years, and I live in a totally different state. If it was legit, you would have to be served legal docs, and a good investigator would know exactly how to find you.  A credit report would also tell you where you live and what name you go by, so these people are randomly reaching out to old information hoping to scare you and get personal information. This is illegal.  Report them.

I have received two calls from this number asking for someone with the same first name and last name as mine, but a different middle name.  States I have a restraining order against me and need to contact an attorney within 24 hours.  I have called the number back twice to tell them I am not the person they think they are calling, and after sitting on hold for 15 minutes, I finally hang up.  They also end each message left on my voice mail with "Good luck"!  

Same as most of the above.  Voice message left saying that Civil Investigations Unit was contacting me regarding an order to show cause that contained a restraining order against me.  I or my attorney needed to respond in 24-48 hours about appearing in court.  Phone number call back was 617-600-4177.  Not going to bother calling back after reading other messages left here.

Got four calls from this number they are based out of mass scammers that need to be brought to before the long arm of the law. How did they get our numbers. Could not block number because i have a old phone I had to change my number.

got a phone call ;while i was at work; my husband said some one left him a message;and said he was being sued for opening accounts with hsbc; they advised him that he will be serve; and he will be arrested;i told them we never heard of the bank;and i said what is the address that the person used to open this acct;they told us dont worry about the address its irrelevant; im forwading this # to the attorney general.

Got the same call once home number, once at cell number and then they called my son.  left me on recording hold for over 10 mins.  SAid I was a respondent in a court action, the said I had a restraining order against me.  Advised to call attorney or them...Bogus...

This is a scam. Unfortunately, they had my SS#. Now I am signing up for Lifelock and have to flag my SS#.

WARNING!!!BEWARE OF FAKE DEBT COLLECTORS! !! According to the FTC theres people all over the country getting these type of phone call,saying if you don't  pay us your going to be arrested and thown in jail. Don't. believe them.You can't be arrested not paying your bills,unless its child support.They can t garnish wages,or touch your bank account with out suing first.SO DON T BELIEVE THESE CROOKS,THERE AFTER YOUR MONEY!!??
