No ID, no message.  Just more aggravation.  And now blocked forever.

Finally ! Someone said it. I wasn't sure how the site worked but it seems fruitless for so many callhangup notes, tho I do it too hoping that someday it would be useful. I agree, it is so annoying. I will add my comment bc I called them back from a blocked cell phone.

called landline while I am on PC , no vm of course,  I was able to block my cell # and call the number to see who they are bc I am expecting some calls and need to talk to a few hospitals and businesses asap.   This is what the recorded outgoing msg state :  " Hi, this is Julie from Redemption Center. You recently visited one of our affiliate websites and in appreciation we have a $100 rebate voucher we would like to give to you which can be used at many fine retailers such as ..."  and goes on to list a number of big box stores and other retailers w/whom we are all familiar. My new best friend, Julie, also gave the option to Press 1, to continue to collect the reward or 2, to be removed from call list.  Of course it's a scam and plenty of people will fall for it and supply bank account numbers and other personal information worth a lot more than $100 which they will never see.  They'll see it disappear from their credit cards and bank accounts but that's all they'll see.  What pisses *me* off personally is that the only site I've recently entered my phone number was @ Comity bank.com where I had no choice if I wanted to pay my stupid $8 bill.  That said, Comity is going to get an "account update" call from me-  I did not give them permission to share my personal information with *any* entity.  Adding injury to insult I'm stuck here waiting for calls yet won't answer the damn phone unless the caller's name is listed on ID

Hi, this is Julie.  Called tonight at 7:00.  Said something about my visiting some site, and now she has a 100 dollar reward for me.  Said to press 1 to continue to get the reward, press 2 to go on a do not call list.  I pressed every other number, as well as the pound sign and the star sign, and each time it was, Hi, this is Julie, hi, this is Julie.

Because people want to see if the same thing is happening to others. They aren't whining. This is a legitimate scam where they call, hang up, and hope you call back so they can charge you.

I would never call back and never answer. Not a moron like you. How do you know its a scam? Did you call back?

I read this to find out who is calling. But that  does not seem to be what anyone here does. Just complain. If you read all of the stupid comments you are the one who needs to get a life sweetie.

How can you sue someone when you have no clue who is calling? On what grounds?
