- srf replies to Tru| 1 replycall and hang-up. scam I am sure
- DinoI got same call. I enjoy reading comments. I just read first page unless I'm not satisfied with answer. Other crap on here I just scroll past if it's not useful.
- K J replies to AlexaAlexa, it's nice that you're smarter than everybody, but this website does in fact exist for everybody and not just you. To me it's useful information to know that this number habitually calls and hangs up because they've learned to spoof my area code now, meaning that it could be a call from someone I know locally whose number isn't in my phone. I would rather look the number up online than call back to find out, but that only works if people are sharing their experiences online.
- TimRang once and hung up, no message . Scam !!
- Call type: Telemarketer
- J DCalled and hung up
- Bababooey replies to TruI called it back and the recording picked up and said it was Julie with Rewards Redemption...whatever that is
- D replies to AlexaI think its Alexa who's calling all of us.
- DenovanStep 1: Create a contact in your directory titled "Spam"
Step 2: Set your preferences for this contact to "all calls to voice mail"
Step 3: Any call you get from a number you are not sure about or a verified telemarketer save to the Spam contact.
Step 4: Never be bothered by them again from that number.
99.999% of the time they will not leave a message so if you get these type of robo calls you never have to worry again as you will never be disturbed by them and if by chance you do get a voice mail and it is legit you can always remove them from the contact.
As to the number in question here, it's a company called Reward redemption. I pulled this from another site.
"Reward Redemption" appears to be either a telemarketing firm generating sales leads, or a scam. The reason is because the name is generic, they call many numbers from many different numbers, there is no contact info, and it follows the same format as similar robocalls for home security, medical alert, etc.
Hi. This is Julie, with Reward Redemption. We called you because you recently visited one of our affiliate websites, and in appreciation we have a $100 rebate card, for you, redeemable at popular stores like Walmart, Best Buy, Home Depot, and many more. Press 1 now to receive your $100 rebate card. Or press 2 if you'd like to be placed on our do-not-call list.
In a recent version of this call they cut out the "$100" and "Walmart, Best Buy, Home Depot" parts. They've also begun using different voices and names (Julie, Jennifer, Lisa, John, Christy).
A Reward Redemption caller claimed to be "Flatlands Marketing" in Tampa Bay, Florida.
Another said they are "Ipro Premium Rewards".- Caller: Reward Redemption
- Call type: Telemarketer
- SueThey called my private # twice, leave no message..I did not answer.
- mymetz1 replies to chilling in SuffolkHow do you block the number on your cell phone?

- lax5779Recvd a call from this number on my cell. Did not answer since I didn't recognize number. My CID says from Massachusetts. No msg left.
- M replies to srfThis is the phone number of scammers who will take your bank info and never send the so-called "reward" of a $100 gift card. I've dealt with these scammers before and reported them to all government agencies, including the department for homeland security....Who these people claimed to be when they called me back from a different number. They are located in clearwater, fl...But have a massachusetts area code (????!!!)
here's the info i've gotten on this company from the florida dept of agriculture and consumer services:
owner - james r mayberry
2035 calumet st ste a, clearwater, fl 33765-1334
phone 727-614-1406

employer tc4243 07/09/12 07/09/16 registered
before you give these scammers your bank info, think about this....If you are being truly "rewarded"....Why do you have to pay $3.95 (the amount i was told) to receive that "reward"????
Beware....These scammers also call from different phone numbers (617 one being an area code from massachusetts). I'm sure you've noticed the "chipmonk" recording asking you to wait for the next "representative" as well as the fast-forwarded "music"....This is a #1 indication of this scam...They use that recording all the time. If you hear "julie's" name....Hang up!!!!
Too, if you have time, call the attorney general's office, fbi (yes, they listened to me...Said they've been trying to shut these scammers down for a couple of years), consumer affairs and any other agencies you can think of and report these people to. The more reports, the better!!!!
