These calls are getting ridiculous. I just wrote to circulation@bostonglobe.com and contacted the Publisher as well. What a harrassing (and not to mention stupid) telemarketing method!

I receive 2-4 calls daily from this number.  Someone is at the other end but does not speak.  After reading the above posting I realized that it started about 2 weeks after I subscribed to the Boston Globe and I wonder if they are related???

617-910-4822 same as 888-618-5681. telemarketing of whatever. Block it.

I have been getting multiple calls per day every day from 617-910-4798, but I never answer. I am a subscriber to the Boston Globe and, from all of the posts here, I suspect that is how my number got "out there"

I got a call from 888-618-5681.  They said they were with safety services.

These clowns (or their machines) have been calling at least once a day for 2-3 weeks and I simply never answer the phone. I did answer one from this number, I think, offering the New York Post, but I screeched at them. I hear it's a scheme to get credit card numbers. I have not reported them to donotcall.gov.

everyday 5- 10 times recieve call from hyde park ma..no one awnser when you pick up..why harrasing innocent people..that certainly wont help your buisness..i never had the globe and never will..when you call back its turnkey solutions..why are they bothering me..i am getting a lawyer

call and the don't leave a message. u try to call back and the there voice mail is full. It is some solution. company

I just received a call for this number, but I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number, so I let my machine get it, but they didn't leave a message. I have never gotten a call from this number before, so I have no idea who it is.  All it said on my caller ID was Hyde Park, MA with a number of 617-910-4798, which I know is the Boston area.

I got a call from this number at work saying my name had been selected to win a $1000 online shopping spree.  These people are typically looking for you to give them  your info so they can (i) send you more junk/offers, or (ii) locate you for a bill collector.  They think they can bait you in by saying you've won something and then you'll tell them everything they need to know in order to get your info.  BEWARE.

They are calling me daily from 617-910-4798 which just shows "Out of Area."  Am fed up with this annoyance.

Yes, I certainly do. It's THE BOSTON GLOBE NEWSPAPER OFFICE on MORRISSEY BOULEVARD in DORCHESTER, MA. They have harassed me three times per day for the last four weeks. Ring, discover ans. machine, hang up after first ring.
Computer driven telemarketing by TURNKEY SOLUTIONS according to a previous post. I have called the GLOBE to have it stopped without satisfactory results. I have asked to have my name added to THEIR DO-NOT-CALL-LIST if they have one; no satisfactory result. I called the MASS ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE, CONSUMER PROTECTION DIVISION, and got mothing but a referrral number to another political department (better known as the run-around!)
Why don't we all call the managing editor each time we get their call and hang-up the minute the editor answers!!!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. I have not done business with the GLOBE so my NATIONAL and STATEWIDE DO-NOT-CALL-LISTING is not being honored. "Exasperated"

I got a call from 617-910-4798 two times. The first time I thought wrong number cuz they left no message. The second time I thought it might be a man I know thaT lived or still lives in Hyde Park. I called the number all I got was "beep" Left a message telling the man to call me back as I thought it was him. Tonight I call again and this time there is a womans voice on the machine saying turn key solutions. I hang up. They called me at 11:56 on Sunday morning this last time. I didn't know telemarketers could do that. I am disappointed it wasn't the man I thought it was calling me
