This is not AT&t the phone company, this is a scam, do not give any info or even answer the phone, At&T phone company would not be calling 5 or 6 times a day, they spoofed a number to look like the phone company it comes up ATT to make you think its phone company, At&t phone company should be on this.

Actually, the noise on the line is authentic. It results from "bridge tap" echoes from the portion of the phone loop which extends laterally or beyond your digital terminal. These "bridges" also recieve your digital DSL signal and bounce it back electrically towards your modem. It's not always present, but an Engineer has to prepare a study whether it will be. If it is, a work order ($) sends a splice tech to climb a pole or open a manhole to disconnect the extraneous parts of the wire circuit. Just throwing on a modem might work, but just as likely it won't. I'm a retired Engineering Operations Manager.

Four calls this morning.  One after another, no message left.  I don't answer unknown numbers/calls.

It's 1:00 pm and they have now called me six times in the past several hours.  No messages left.  I have now blocked the number.

Calls every day, sometimes twice a day.  Says from ATT (haha) wanted me to take their hi-speed internet.  When my contract is up with ATT, going to have everything of ATT's taken out of my home because of this harrassment.  ATT has gotten TOO big for their britches AGAIN.

It is ATT you can have your number removed from their call list and put on ATT DNC I called number showing on caller ID followed instructions and by some miracle I will go on ATT DNC list I am not holding my breath but maybe miracles do happen :-)

This is a scam, this is not at&t phone company, they want to get information from you, they are posing as the phone company, there is no company with att, be careful and do not answer

Caller ID shows ATT, but it is a sales pitch/telemarketer.  We already have ATT as our landline, so I don't understand why we keep getting calls (EVERY DAY!).  It should be against the law for telemarketers to use the names of legitimate companies!

Annoying caller to pitch ATT home service, which I already have.  I have asked them twice not to call me and it has done no good.  Will report to the Do not call list,

Calls everyday, sometimes more than once.  Caller ID says ATT but I am pretty sure this is a scammer.  I don't answer, or I pick up and then hang up immediately so I don't listen to the spiel.

I use to have that att uverse and it was trash. It went out all the time. I got rid of ATT u verse back in July of 2016. And now in Jan of 2017 they keep calling and wanting me back. They even owed me money and took them Five mths to finally to pay me a little over $100.00.

Caller called. Left no  message.

It's not AT&T.  AT&T has call centers here in OH.  No one from SAN DIEGO, CA has a reason to solicit my business for AT&T.

Called 18 times in last 17 days. (Today is 2/3/2017). Caller ID is ATT.  FIrst call I blocked call.  When number is blocked,  it rings two times and goes silent.  Let them waste their time calling.  I do not answer any number I do not recognize nor this ATT either.  I pay for the use of my phone and I am not required to answer unknown numbers!!!

Call my business line on Saturday morning. No answer. Get this one every other day.

Caller claiming to be with ATT calls work phone number daily regarding television viewing.  Told them that we don't have a television in the office, this is a business.  Asked them to remove number from call list as they are wasting their time and mine.
