Me too. 12:28 a.m. creeps. What's the point?

Did not recognize number so did not pick up ... based on other comments, glad I did not.  So sick of all these unwanted calls!!!

'Cindy' calls from 'Palisades Construction' and said she and her boss are 'in my area doing estimates.'  She names my street and says she is returning my call.  Asked her what her call back number and eventually she gave me a bogus 877#.  Nor would she give her contractor's lic #.  Obvious bogus house casing scam like Crowne, Platinum, Coast Construction.  All setups to get them into your house.  I reported, again, to DNC.

They call all the time and when you call the number that shows on the caller ID it doesn't ring at all. What are they hiding?

Answered knowing full well it was a scam call.  I like effing with telemarketers... but no one was there.
I blocked their future calls.

FACT 1 - the DNC list CLEARLY does not work!  Everyone knows this...or you should know this by now!
FACT 2 - filing a complaint with the FCC does not work!  A total and complete waste of time.  Been there.  Done that.
FACT 3 - having an unlisted phone will not help you.
FACT 4 - asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list – you’ll get laughed at!
FACT 5 - no "class action" law suits are being filed and certainly, none are being LITIGATED.  
FACT 6 – contacting the BBB – LAUGHABLE!!!  The BBB and the National Chamber of Commerce are corrupt organizations that sell their ratings to the highest bidder.  You can forget them.

Call blocking phones are very inexpensive $40-$60 and they come with, at least, one wireless handset.  Very, very convenient.

Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones.  They’re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd wireless handset.  
COSTCO & AMAZON SELL THEM.

                     They work beautifully!  These phones also block
                  “PRIVATE,” “OUT OF AREA” and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!

I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every call list imaginable.  I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.

NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS.   THEY CAN’T GET THROUGH!

We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone!

This caller has a lot of personal information that must be supplied by scam artists who search various internet sites. Told the caller to remove my unlisted number from their list. Couldn't agree more with jetames and will purchase a blocking phone as that appears to be the only thing that will work. DNC is a joke!.

They call everyday so I decided to to finally pick up. He asked  if we had any home improvement projects and I immediately cut him off and said we were not interested, thanks and I hung up but they still keep calling! I called the number back a second after they called again and it says the number  is no longer in service, super annoying!

Got a call from this number at 11:30 pm.  I didn't answer since I didn't recognize number.  I won't even tell them to take me off their list because that will give him too much information.

they reached us at 11:49pm last night.  I did pick up because it was late and i thought it might be an emergency call from one of my husband's co-workers, as I recognized the area code but not the number. Anyways, called, no one spoke on the other end, I hung up. Will now put this number on call block.

They called again today.

They called here twice in the last 2 weeks, both times they stated that they had spoken to me previously about home improvements, solar panel installation , bathroom or kitchen remodel.  I told the girl I had not spoken with her or anyone from her company and not to call back.  I asked "please remove me from your call-list'.  She insisted both times like she had not heard what I said, that they would be out... In person to discuss the work to be done.  They refuse to listen, it is like they are being monitored and they should never say "okay I wont Call again".   Definitely a computer places the call as I had to  Say "Hello" Twice but they knew my last name both times.

They were not so polite with me,  They verified my name and Then insisted that we had a prior business arrangement.  When I tried to Correct her she just went on like she did not hear me... Just saying Yes and then trying to identify the type of home improvement I had requested from them.  I tried calling back to speak to a supervisor or something,  No Answer..

Just called here. Creepy that they somehow manage to make the ringtone on my home phone different, and the caller id does not pop up for a while.  I tried calling the number back and got a bogus "disconnected number" message.  SO ANNOYING!

Second time this number called me, they didn't even answer phone when I said hello. That's just grinds my gears

it said "La Puente". theyve called a few times and always hang up.
