During the past 12 months, I've received probably 60+ such calls, from different numbers, by different people or else hang up calls.

These are Gypsy scammers who, among other crimes, prey on the elderly (me).

Should you accept their home improvement services, if you're lucky there'll merely be a demand for the money before starting, shoddy work, such as the pouring of used motor oil on your roof or driveway, or work begun but left unfinished.

If you're unlucky, those will be combined with distraction burglary of your home.

It may be non PC to say so, but those are Gypsy scammers are the callers

These people are preying on my elderly parents - maybe scamming the house?

Please report to FBI.

They are unbelievable and I don’t believe they have the products they are selling. They are cons. And here is why: They are trying to sell me anything that a home owner could possibly do to a home. If I ask them to send someone out, they can’t for obvious reasons. They are after info but I don’t know what for or what kind of info.

How do I report to FBI or ANYONE!

Repeated calls

Folks, please don't waste your time trying to report these crooks - they are spoofing their CallerID, OK?  Reporting to the FBI or whoever that you are getting calls from A DISCONNECTED NUMBER will get you, and the FBI, exactly nowhere.  Don't waste your time.  Buy a phone that can block calls, and add this number to the blacklist.  That is your ONLY realistic countermeasure!

Another call. Didn't answer again. It's just plain intimidation at this point. Why the police do not set up a sting for this, I don't get.

The phone is part of 'do not call" list and still receiving calls from telemarketers..

they called again  ~~  their call was blocked  ~~  again!
Buy a call blocking phone an no more worries  :)

Caller is doing a job that may not be up an up, what an irritation, bad karma may be with that sprit

They called again July 8th, 12:38PM.
Their call was blocked ~ again!
Folks - TIME TO GET REAL.  
The Do Not Call list doesn't work.  
Filing an FCC complaint does nothing except waste your time.
Telemarketers use predictive dialers and spoofed call back numbers.

Spend $40 and buy a call blocking phone!

They hang up when answered.  Caller ID says unknown name.

They called me 9 tumes so far.  I filed FCC complaint on them.  They called again 7/9/12 and      I told her that she was breaking the law as I am on the do not call list. She told me there is no such list.  I hung up.
They are scammer.

I too was called by this number - he also stated he had talked to us previously about doing work  like remodeling (I know for a fact it was a lie). I confronted him and told him he was full of **** and of course he got mad. I also told him we were on the do not call list, and he avoided answering me about that and tried to talk around it. Then he threatened me and told me he'd be having a lot of others calling me as well!! What a JERK!

A man just called at 12: 20 with a thick New York or New Jersey accent, talking like a tough guy. He asked to speak to (ex-husband's name) , who passed away a year ago. I asked who was calling, and he said, "Oh yeah? Just let me speak to him right now." I asked again who he was, and he said, "Oh, is that how you're going to be about it? Let's see, you're at (stating my address), OK, let's go over there right now." And he hung up. It sounded very threatening. After a few minutes I dialed the number, and a recording said that the number has been disconnected. I almost called the police, but but the number looked familiar, and I looked it up here. And I know the police can't do anything.
