626-667-7722 calls repeatedly and hangs up after a few seconds.  I can hear breathing but they do not talk; they just hang up after a few seconds.  Am sick and tired of their interrupting my day.

They called again - and again their call was blocked.  Their 4th or 5th call to my home.

THEIR CALLS ARE BLOCKED - THEY CAN CALL AS MUCH AS THEY LIKE.

Buy a call blocking phone - the cost about $40.00.

Just got a call from this number.  No ID, no message left.  I wonder if it is connected to the "Home Remodelling" flyers I have been getting in my mailbox all week...

They've called me twice in the last 2 days.  I don't know anyone in 626 area code and refuse to answer if I don't recognize phone #.  It seems fairly obvious that DNC doesn't mean anything and there is no way to get rid of these da** nuisance calls, which includes the private caller, blocked call, unknown, etc.   There should be something we (consumers) can do to protect ourselves from this garbage.  They can do all kinds of things to keep us from identifying them, but we have no recourse to keep us safe from them.

If you do answer the phone, the problem can be easily resolved by merely stating "by law I must inform you that I'm recording this call.  Now, what did you say the name of your company was?  And what is it about my telling you not to call me again is it that you do not understand?"  Guaranteed, if they do not hang up on you as soon as you tell them the call is being recorded, they will by the time you finish asking them the name of their company.  And, chances are, they will not be calling you back.

Received a call from this number with the 626 area code.  Oddly enough, have received weird calls from this exact #, but with a different area code.  Don't know how they do 'that'.

Terribly annoying!!!

I use this opportunity to talk the nastiest filth I can think of to the caller. Ask thim what he is wearing and then tell him what I would do to him if we were in jail together and he wore that pretty little sundress I like. Ask him if he wants to play Mike Tyson's bunk mate. He is always the girl. It's not against the law because he called me and I am old and senile and maybe even crazy. Who is he going to complain to, anyway?  He can always hang up and not call again...unless he is into wierd stuff.
Beg him to call back tomorrow at the same time for more of the same. He won't.

when I answered the telephone and said hello there was a tone and then a computer generated voice said Goodby and hung up.

I received a call from this number two days in a row. Today I called the number and got a recording that the number is disconnected or no longer in use.  Strange.

I got 2 calls from this number today.  Th first caller hung up without saying anything.  The second caller yelled "do you recognize me" 3 tomes.  I didn't respond and he hung up after about 15 seconds.

keeps calling me back. Same false claim  for home remodel job. I now file a complaint at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/
It only takes about two minutes to file.

I do not know if this has anything to do with these people getting my landline number or not, but recently I had an infestation of ants and I got on line and filled out an 'appointment' form for 2 different pest extermination companies. I will not mention their names, but you know, when I walk to my car in the morning my windshield is real dewy and you will find these present in alcohols and many other organic compounds a Hydr-oxyl group.
So, is it coincidence or did these individuals sell my name? It was bad enough they wanted to almost force us into a contract....thats for another time.
If anyone out there has recently had an exterminator or plumbing company visit your house or you filled out an 'appointment' form on line, then we can tell if they are doing this illegally.

If they call me I will pretend to be interested and incite them to my home. When they arrive I will tie them to trees and pour acid on them. Then they will never call you anymore.

They call every week and I have told them to please stop

Calls often and hangs up. I called the number back it says it's a disconnected number!!!

The answer is simple - Keep them busy & slow them down.

1)  Keep an old radio by the phone that is tuned to the most annoying station you can find.
2)  Respond politely & enthusiastically - "Oh that sounds really interesting, hold on a minute"
3)  Place phone by the radio.& go make a cup of coffee.

They call several times a day. If I don't pick up they leave no message. When I do, they hang up.
