un-named credit card company calling offering "lower interest rates." I did what it took to get a person. Then I asked to be removed from the list. HOW MANY OF THESE COMPANIES EXIST?

Just got the call. Didn't answer. This was the second time in 2 weeks

Don't call me!

They have called me on my CELL phone twice, once on my home phone.  The first time I answered my cell, because I didn't think a telemarketer would call a cell.  WRONG!! They have called it twice!  I have to pay for their first stupid call.  Then they called my home phone.  Everyone is right - if you don't recognize the number, don't answer.  If it's important, they'll leave a message.

The caller (about the 8th) hung up on me a couple of times when I asked, "with whom am I speaking?" He then replied that was I against his earning an income to support his kids?  I have tried to locate where the call is from but was not very helpful.  My Irish is up and when that gets up be aware.  Now it is my turn to make calls.  To the state where the call came from.   Cheers

Got pre recorded call soliciting a credit card rate reduction which led to prompt to press one for a representative to take advantage of the offer. Spoke with "annie" and asked her to remove us from their calling list as we are on the DO NOT CALL LIST. She said she would tell her manager tonight and have our number removed. She also said she would contact the company that generates the list of phone numbers for their use. I reported them to the FCC anyway as should you.

This company has been calling me for months.  They wont provide any information, and hang up the phone when you ask for a supervisor.

They called my mothers house when I was visiting so I answered  the automated message and it says push 1 so I did to get a live person. I got a live person and asked very politely to be taken off of their call list and he said "I will put you on my keep calling list" to which I said what was that as I thought he surely didn't just say that and he repeated it so I told him something very explicit and hung up on him so he wouldn't get the last word. I am taking this as far as I can about notifying the proper authorities. Whether anything comes from it I will have a clear concious knowing I tried to get them stopped for somebody else.

They left no message. I am on the 'DO NOT CALL' list.

We get this phone call about every other day. We are on a Do Not Call list and I have listened to the recording, pressed 1 and talked to 2 different people. When I ask what card this even applies to the hang up on me. Driving me crazy!

I keep getting calls from this number not only to my house number, but also to me cell phone and I am on the do not call list.  I always thought that you weren't supposed to get calls from these people when you sign up for this list.  I am getting more now that I signed up!!!

Just block them on your phone. Most phone companies allow you to block certain numbers.

Got a call from them while I was out.  They didn't leave a message.  They just called back.  I pressed "9" to talk to a live operator.  When "Kimberly" answered, I asked very politely to be removed from their calling list.  She hung up on me.  So I reported the number to donotcall.gov and blocked the number.

This is crazy and they keep calling.  Make them stop

Have been in contact with the FTC over this.They have assured me they know who is responsible for this scam under the name Adbeep LLC.

It won'r be long now before this stops and arrests are made.

I received a recorded call asking if we want our credit card interest lowered and pressed "9" to speak with a representative. Got put on line with a man who I asked to remove my phone number from their call list. The man was indignant and asked "WHY NOT?". I informed him that I didn't want to fight with him and that I just wanted my number removed from his list. He replied "why don't you want to fight me? I'm a BIG man". I immediately asked for a supervisor and got, what I believe to be the same man who used an Indian accent claiming to be the supervisor. I started to speak and was hung up on.

What can be done to STOP this scam/harassment?

Some credit company (I say this loosely) -- as I don't have any credit cards, have no home phone number (they are blast-dialing a fax machine that is unlisted & unpublished AND on the do-not-call list.) This number has called over 10 times in the past 9 days -- unreal!!
