I got this call also "Hi, I noticed you offer services in the area and wondered if you can help us with a few of our properties, give me a call back, if I'm out, anyone in the office can help you." What I can't figure out is how he got my HOME phone number. There is no trace of it in the ad or connected to my account. Angry.

Got the same call as well. These type of people need to get a life and stop trying to scam people!!

I have an ad on craigslist too. They left a message about contracting me to do work on foreclosed homes for the banks in my area. I called back and they asked for $99.00 to do a background check on me. IT'S A SCAM !

When returning the call the message is that the offices are not open but it doesn't say who the company, Shawn is the person that left the message on my voice mail, saying he needed the services of the company I work for ASAP.

I received the same call from Matt who says they are interested in my services that I provide in my area that can possibly help him with his properties. It is an automated recording that also says to leave a message or speak to anyone in their office and they will be able to assist me. I also post on craigslist regularly

Just got the same call.  Matt left a message (automated on my voice mail, I know because I had the choice to dial 1 to talk to someone) and when I called the number back I got the, as stated above, either mary or marie. The number 630-405-5012 is an Illinois area code and she said that the Shaw Construction is a company in Florida, that makes no since to me.  Do not fall for this scam! We all work way to hard to hand some A**HOLE $99.  Be smart!

They are working hard to steal our hard earned cash! She tried to get me to process the 99.00 fee for the back ground I told her no they needed to send me an e-mail with their company info so I could look into it further..still no such e-mail has came. Hope these ask holes get what they are looking for a good old ask whipping ....behind bars. Then the only back ground check they will be doing will have an ankle view while they touch the floor of a 6x9 cell.. I traducing Bubbas back ground check..

This is a scam. They wanted to charge me $99 for a background check. I told the woman to email with the company website etc. Guess what no email.

Got a call from this number....acted real important. Looked it up here, what a waste of my time. Dont thet realize IF we wanted them to call we would say so. what [***]!

I have no ad on Craigslist but do advertise on Google and elsewhere on the web. The message said they were 'Shaw construction' and had properties for me do work on. Yet, I live in south Florida...strange.

I just got a call from 630.405.5012.  They left a message that they were booked out with jobs and if we could help them.  First I don't own a business, I live in Lakeland Fl ( the house is mine only), but my Fiance' does live here with me (but owns a house in Tampa).  He does own a business, his business is located in Tampa, Fl, it also has a Tampa number for the office and he has a cell with a Tampa area code for his business too!.  I would like to know how they got my (private) number instead of his business numbers or office location???? I am no way linked to his business, I am not even an employee.  How do these scam artist get so much info?

I got the same call from Matt.  Said to press 1 now or call back and anyone in the office could help. They were slammed with work and needed someone for small projects.Thanks for alerting me of the scam.

I just received a call from this person Matt glad I used this search I too have an ad on  Craigslist was not suspecting a scam call at all.  Glad I looked the number up now that is how I n ow know it is a scam I was merely trying to find company location call simply said construction company in need of my cleaning services. Thanks for a site like this that keeps it real for us real people out here.

I got a call from 630-405-5012 and I pressed 1. The lady talked about what they do and I told her we are a full service floor store and could do some large jobs but probably not the little repairs she said they have available. I looked up the commercialcrews.com web site she told me and it looks legit.

This number called my phone and left a message, male voice, Matt from "Shock Construction" ... I called back and got a very unprofessional woman who didn't identify the name of the company and then when I asked about Shock Construction they passed me off to another handler (also a woman) who told me all about "Commercialcrews.com" and how much work they could get me in my local area working with banks holding forclosure homes... I run a small part time handyman business.... She said I would need to pay $99 for my own back ground investigation... I thought it stinks... I said to her, "that doesn't make a lot of sense.. If you are going to be making money by brokering my services then you pay for the background check."  Then I informed her that my company was a part time one and that I work full time as a police officer and that I would be doing my own background check on their company prior to allowing them to do mine...LOL  Bunch of scamming [***] is what it sounds like to me.

Received the same call. What a poor scam. They said they are in business for 10 years but the commercialcrews.com is registered only in 2009. On the website there is no Legal Company Name. Any serious company with a website should have the legal name posted. They ask for $100 and a lot of information about your person. This is ridiculous. I know we all have to make a living but I am asking myself how is this Marielle Sanchez sleeping knowing that she makes so much damage and hurt so many people on a daily basis.

Matt called me and left a message. When I got around to it I called back a few weeks later for grins. I had a feeling this was a scam. When I called, I talked to Ms. Sanchez  She was telling me how great the service was, BUT when I wouldnt budge when she wanted my $99 and I said "who are you." " I dont know you and I was going to have to check HER OUT" And that I am a business man and that I am not giving her my money until I checked her out. Her demeaner changed into a meek mild little girl. If your gut instinct says somethings wrong go with your gut.Check people out first. Their are people who just want your money. "Dirty Sanchez".

I just got a call from them please everyone spread the word these is a SCAM! She immediately wanted my personal info. for a background check thats one thing craigslist tells you not to do. The get the 100 dollars and screw you. I hope nobody falls for this.Someone needs to report them to authorites. I postive theyve gotten away with it several times.
