Matt called me today wanting to schedule me out to do work.  Work on what (I'm a homemaker), I thought so I called.  Sat on on hold for awhile and then a woman picked up did not identify herself or the company I was calling. I asked how my number was received she did not answer me, instead she moved on to the next question which was why were they calling me. I was asked if I was remolding contractor I laughed and told her no. She replied with oh this must be a mistake took my number and placed it in the "do not call list" ****However she did have Caller ID because I did use *67 and she said told me that my number came up Restricted****(new information on these people)  I also have posted on Craigslist one time.

i got a call from matt on 10-9-11 and he said they have a lot of properties that need help and to give him a call back at that same 630# and he or a lady in the office will answer. ? don't know what to think has anyone actually done business with these individuals of does it not get that fare. or are they just looking for personal info? iv done work for a similar company and worked for them for over a year everything checked out fine, and i think they found my company the same way? just don't know

So, I've read several posts and see this is some how related to Craigslist. However, my company does not post on, or use Craigslist. The call I got made you think from the start that it was an honest call, but then it became rather obvious it was a recording. In fact, the message was like one you would leave on an answering machine! It said they were a construction firm and saw that we did work in there area and would like to schedule us to come out and work if we had time.

Received a call from this number about contractor work for 30 banks and asked for $99 for a background check.

posted ad on craigslist - they left voicemail - we have alot of properties near you....

automated call saying they have jobs available in our area

Just received the same phone call!! It was automated asked me to press 1 to leave a message and the mail box was full!! Don't know where the hell they got my number from its a prepaid phone!! I'm in Texas on the coast...

I have been getting this same call from the same #. I dont even advertise or have anything on Craigs list and they called my unlisted cell first, then they started calling my home. I am going to report the # and scam to the phone co. and the local news so that these idiots get cut off!

Call Us Attorney's office and file a report.

Call the FBI and file a report.
They are using the phone lines across state lines for fraud.

I received a call from Matt with Viotech Construction from 630-405-5012.  He asked that I return his call to discuss that he had quite a few properties near me that he needed help on.  "He could schedule me out immediately, if I am available."  It was a strange call and I did not follow up with him.  I read the posts on this website.  I also recently posted an add on Craigslist.  I could not tell if it was a real person or robo-call.

I too received a call.... I was super pumped to get it because it didnt sound like a scammer....I am glad I looked it up cause I was goin to give this Matt a call back the next day.

These people believe they are immune to the national do not call registry rules. They claim that they are not solicitors therefore they are free to harass as they will.

I have repeatedly asked them to quit calling me but they still do.

I have filed a complaint with the national registry. If you have been on the do not call list for at least 31 days you may file a complaint also. Maybe if enough people complain these people will be shut down.

Just recieved a call this morning! Its still going on! Watch out for your Businesses!

I posted a Craigslist Ad, they responded to it as they were looking to sell their private mortgage loans on properties. I tried to call a few times and it just plays music.. If this is a fraudulent spam call.. what a cheap thrill!

Got a phone call, they tell me they are with a bank for home foreclosure.  They ask for a credit card, which I don't give over the phone.

I am looking for work and got the Viotech call today, plugged in the number and researched the company. Found this site and could find no company under this spelling a couple under other spellings but none with an area code close to 630. Registered a complaint with the No Call Listing.
Do they ever quit and the other question is, Why?

This Matt guy also called me from this number, leaving me a message that he had work in my area. I called the nunber back a d got music. I thought that was odd, so i looked up Viotec Constructiin on lineand found tgis blog among other bad postings about this SCAM. It pisses ne off. I think we all should do a little investigation a d expose this guy for who he is. I'm glad people are warning others! It definetlymade me aware.

Yea, I got this same call from some guy name Matt, when I called back all I got was Music, I don't think they are legit! But everyone should be aware, plenty scams out there!

Got a call from this company, when I attempted to cll them back, All I got was Music, I dont know what kind of Company there running. But here at my company we only want serious offers or request! No Thanks Viotech Construction or who ever you are!

I got the same call it went to some lady and she wanted me to clean foreclosed houses but needed a 100.00 bucs for a back ground check.. SCAM!!!!!
