These are identity thieves pretending to be your credit card company.

Although I abide, I had to draw a line in the sand. I mean, these losers pi§ed on my rug. (Also they called, I didn't answer, and they left no message.) that rug really tied the room together, man.

The guy on the other end of the line wanted my information. If he was with my card company he should have had it already in front of him. he couldn't tell me what company he was with simply said Visa and MasterCard. when I said could you be more specific he listed every card company he could think of. Definitely a scam.

called me at 2:05 EST. Told me they would lower interest rate, but needed my credit card number. I argued with the guy, telling him he should have  my number if he was who  he said he was. He gave me a [***] and bull story.  I hung up on the  guy ,and then called my credit card company  to report the  incident.  They told me it was a scam just as I thought.

Let us give thanks for the inventor of Caller ID. That one modest device has stopped many a person from picking up a predatory phone call, me included!

You can get away from them.  All you have to do is DO NOT ANSWER the phone when your caller ID shows a name and or number you do not recognize.  It isn't against the law not to answer the phone.  You won't be arrested or fined for doing so.  If you have call block capability on your phone, use it. Trust me, this method does make your life easier.  Don't answer them and by all means do not call them back for any reason.  Not even to request they remove your number from their calling lists.  They might say the will etc. They won't, they will just call your number more often.  They seldom if ever leave a message on your answering machine.  If you block their call, they don't even get to the answering machine.  Those I have blocked are given one quick ring and then the machine goes to work and blocks the call.  They are gone.  Some are stupid and try calling for several weeks and get the same treatment.  If you pay  the phone company for call blocking their system will tell the caller that the number they are calling is not accepting calls from them.Big deal, they keep trying.  But you don't have to sweat it.  Let the system run them off.  They eventually give up.  Some will use another number to call you from and so you block that number as well.  You are beating them at their game.  You are the winner in their game.

Card services - no msg left

Received call at 11 am 8/3  in Atlanta. Didn't answer because out of area AREA CODE was displayed with number.  Area Code 630 is in West Chicago Metro area.  Looked this number up at "white pages" website, which ID'd it the number as probable spam.     That Website also listed quite a few additional numbers association with the same bandwidth as likely spam numbers.

These scammers call and call and call. They are now BLOCKED!

CID showed Lombard IL.  I know no one there.  Did not recognize # so did not answer.  Left no message.  When will they ever learn?

Calling here, leaving no message and we know it's a scam!!!  There's no security with our phones anymore!

Did not answer--They left recorded message asking to press 1 or 2 as response.  Did not. obvious scam.

Well, another new scam number. Caller id said "Lombard, Il."  Of course they didn't leave a message.  What a surprise!

Dear Card Member Services.  Thanks for your incessant calls from made up spoofed numbers like 630 519 6450.  Enjoy your slave laborers from India.  I will continue to report you to the FTC and FCC and eventually you will be eliminated, only to reemerge in a new form like the cockroaches that you are.

I received a call at 12:20 EST on 8/5/15. They claim that they can lower my interest rate on all my credit cards, but do not report who is calling. Seems like a scam. I hung up.
