- Mia| 6 repliesReceived a call from Second Chance (630-692-3000) on April 16, 2014.This is the biggest SCAM. The callers (1st Caller, their supervisor) scared the hell out me with their threats. They were going to contact my employer. They said I received a payday loan for $300, however, I now needed to pay $1400 because of fees, etc,., or take their hardship and pay only $601. They wanted me to send my bank information to prove that I did not take out the loan. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!! All participants with SECOND CHANCE, MAY YOU BURN IN HELL FOR ETERNITY!!!!!

- Nondeplume replies to Alice SpannMake a not to yourself and change your name to Alice Shillary shilly! Or Alice spam shill. Highly doubt you work for AT&T though it appears you do work for the scammers. Thanks for playing though, you won the door prize, please exit with all haste and allow it to strike you in the hind end on the way out --->
- Elspeth replies to Sue| 5 repliesIn order for there to be a judgment, you would have had to have been served a court summons, had your day in court and LOST your case. There is *no* "disruption" of driving privileges - you can't have your license revoked for failure to pay a loan back. Per the FDCPA, you should not pay any caller who refuses to MAIL - do not accept email or fax - proof that you owe a debt (like a signed contract) and proof that your caller can legally collect said debt. Refusal to mail this documentation to you is a violation of federal law. Threatening you with "wage assignment" and "disruption of driving privileges" is also illegal.
In short, do I know who this company is? Yeah - it's a bunch of scammers trying to scare people into paying a bogus debt, debt that has already been paid off, or even debt that is owed - but not to them!
