there was a message left on my telephone answering machine.  A man said my name and it's regarding a university I attended long time ago.  I googled the phone number and it is from a debt collector called Enterprise Recovery Systems.  I don't owe anyone any money and I don't know why I received a call it.  I did not call back.

Had same as above - was really rude to my wife, and didn't leave a message with any clear info why he was calling - Anthony Stevens - blocked his number.  I'm sure this is a scam of some sort.

I was behind but consolidated all of my loans. An aggressive man called me at MY JOB. I told him that he could not call there and he was very demeaning. I don't answer calls I do not  know. I told him that he was NOT allowed to call my office again and that if he could find my work number, he could easily find my email. He just kept talking and I hung up.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Left a voicemail saying from a debt collection company called Enterprise Recovery. Thing is, I don't have any debt that needs recovering so decided to add my report here. When the government took away protection of cell phone numbers I began getting calls like this every day. Now I get spam, scam an marketing calls one to three times a day. The FCC has truly screwed us all over.

I've been getting constant calls. Not only me but to my parents about my debt. I don't have any debt that needs to be recovered.

Recvd mutiple calls at my employer - man was rude to my staff - made comments about me never being available.  When I finally answered a call he verified my name and then asked if I was the spouse of my ex-husband.  I informed him that we had been divorced for several years and asked what this was about.  He then said it was a personal matter and hung up.

Have received calls from this number for over a year now. Only two voicemails and no mail.

The most recent call was from a Chris Ross. They say I am in final notice because of my debt. Except I pay my student loans on time with fedloan and am not behind. This is such a scam and the worst part is, they instill fear in people in order to get them to pay them money.

so i started getting calls from these guys it's been everyday for about maybe a week an half. So i don't answer unknown calls "if it's important leave a message" kind of thing. they left a message and say i have debt? I don't own any debt cards besides a prepaid gift card that has money in it so no debt there. So concluded this is a total scam that won't let up until they annoy the flying fudge out of you because they call at the most unconventional times in the world.

Debt is not just a card.  Debt could be non-payment for a product or service.

Repeated calls from this number, leaves message about a debt - I have no debts in arrears.  No mail showing attempted 'legal' collection of debt as shown in comment above by "BigA' - which had lots of great info.  Not answering
