I have an iPhone 5C and a Panasonic phone for landline.  If you go to the recent caller list of iPhone, click the "I" information on scammer's call, it will take you to the detail page of that call, scroll down to the bottom of the page, click the "block this contact", the caller/contact will be blocked. Regards to the Land line phone, just bought from Costco, following instructions, scammers can also be blocked but provided you have caller ID service in order to work. Hope this help.

Got 10 calls in the last 3 days from this number.  I dont answer, they dont leave a message.

Same as the rest of you guys... caller knew my full name,  address and obviously my phone number... a lot of mumo jumbo about sending me forms to sign... be careful out there...

Have received calls morning, noon and evening for about 10 days from this number. It's clearly automated and most of the time, ther eis a delay and they hang up. Once a woman came on and identified herself as a rep for an investment company. When I told her I have traced the call to online report and am not interested, she politely got off, but the calls keep coming. I wish there was a way to catch these people! I completed forms on the Federal Trade Commission site and FCC site.

Receiving calls from number 2-3 times a day. No company identified for call back and no answer. Apparently a scam.

I was getting several calls per day from 646-205-2881, and most times it would just disconnect if I picked up.  I finally picked up and had someone talk to me.  A man asked for my wife, and when I asked who was calling he pleasantly explained to me that he was contacting owners of a particular mutual fund (which she does own) to get her proxy vote for the particular fund.  She wasn't home so he gave me the number to call to submit her to vote.  He did not ask for any personal information at all.  Just sounds like a guy trying to do his job.  I looked up the number he gave me and found the scripting they use.

I would have been nice if they would have left messages with the calls though.  All the calls were very annoying.  

This number belongs to Broadridge Proxy Services. The operator that contacted me was Elizabeth Rodriguez. They wanted to know if I was going to vote by proxy regarding stocks I hold.

Thanks,Pat.  Because of your post, I answered the next call & spoke with Broadridge.  They did indeed, want me  to vote a proxy for a mutual fund that I own.  I told them I would, then I gave them an earful. I suggested that my comments get referred to a mgr & that, in the future, they leave a msg so that people would know they're legitimate.  I could have gotten rid of them 10 days, if I'd only known who they were.

This number calls me at home at Least three times a day, I do not answer it, nor do I ever intend to answer it.

I get this call several times a day at all hours.  The ID says New York and they never leave a message. I never answer this number. I would love to block this number.

This number keeps calling my phone asking for my father. They call at all hours and it is getting very tiring! Now when I answer they hang up. Anyone know how to make it stop?

I got 3 calls from this number and 1 call from 973-873-7700 today.  I did not pick up.  No message left.

They are soliciting proxy votes for exchange traded funds.  It is a very legitimate phone call as they have to have a certain number of affirmative votes for the change to pass.  In all likelihood, they are using a process that autodials and when someone answers shifts it to someone to take the call, if no one is available within a few seconds it hangs up.  I had to answer 3 times today to finally get a person.  Now that I have voted they will stop calling.  Apparently the proxy materials went out in the mail in November.  I don't remember receiving them.  They are representing Barclay's Bank and the only thing they asked me for was my address which is available publicly anyway.

Clearly a con.  Calls once or twice per day although I am on the no-call list, usually nobody there.  Likely targets seniors.  Advise not answering at all.

AT&T allows customers to add phone numbers to a "blocked calls" list. I used that feature for this number tonight after receiving four calls today alone.

Caller knew the brokerage firm I use and asked if I would like to vote with the majority on a proxy vote for a stock I own.  Told her I don't deal with financial issues over the phone.  Then she asked for my email address to send me info about the vote.  I hung up.  They've called twice since.  Once I told her I already handled the matter (figure why not scam the scammer!).  They called again tonight and I didn't answer.  What a pain!

Calls all hours of the day and night.  Never pick up if I don't know the number and it says Out of Area.
