This man with an Indian accent called me on cell phone and stated he was attorney Ben Smith from New York so I asked him for his Ny Law license number.  He then told me that I was going to be arrested for fraud, theft, and conspiracy at my Job, I then asked for the name of the law enforcement agency that would be processing the warrant he said he did not know.  He said that if I paid it today that I would avoid arrest.  I explain what he was doing was illegal and that he was a fraud.

We received a call from this number also they stated that we also got a payday loan and that someone was going to come and arrest my husband on Saturday if we didn't pay him money! He also gave the name of Ben Morris with Attorney David Hernandez as the firm he is with. I contacted Attorney Hernandez's office and I am waiting for a call from him. Hopefully there is something that he can do from his end to stop these people. Also, I was talking to a very close friend that just so happens to work in the sheriff's office and she was telling me they get a lot of complaints about this! She also stated that you cannot be arrested for a owing money for a loan they will only file a judgement against you for a court appearance and not have a warrant issued for your arrest! Please do not give them anything!

Got six phone calls from this number this morning.  I looked on the computer and found it is a scam.  Hernandez Law Firm, wanting information.  I told them I already know they are a scam and if a company wants me they can contact me.  His last reply was....you will never catch me.  No more phone calls.  When is this stuff going to stop.  He also spoke with a heavy accent.  Be aware and do not give them personal information or let them intimidate you.

I received a message today from "Ben Morris" from Brooklyn. He was claiming that I owed 400 dollars on a loan that I never took out and said that I would be arrested and face prison time?!? He also had my social security number!!! I have no idea how he would have retrieved that?

I received a call on my cell from this number, looked it up here because I didn't answer.  While I was on this page, "Ron Adams" left a message on my cell and then immediately called my place of employment.  This is harassment, pure & simple.  I guess I will "face the legal consequences" and befall "what I have coming to me" because I'm not giving these creeps the time of day because I have done absolutely nothing wrong.  I would like to know how they get our phone number though.

Indian Man just called saying that he is responding to messages being sent from my computer. He said that my computer is being loaded with viruses and that he was calling to assist me. Same number as those post that he says that he is an attorney. FAKE!!!

Like the rest of fellow callers, this person calls threatening me with arrest and warrants. Goes by the name of Ron James does not state the Law Firm he works for, but wishes me luck if I or my attorney don't call this number 646-583-2848 back. Have no plans on returning this call and will keep deleting and ignoring these calls. They can call all they want.

I too have received calls from a man with a thick heavy Indian/ Pakistanian accent threatening me with legal action if my lawyers or myself don't call him back immediately . Gave his name as Attorney Adams. Called me twice today, and if I'm not mistaken this same person called me several times last summer, leaving these types of messages. I never responded. Today I called and left a message on his answering machine telling him not to call me or else. Let's see what happens....

A Ron Adams left a message on my answering machine, and said that if I didn't call this number, that I would be arrested and have to face the legal consequences and to have a Blessed Day !!   They call me at least once or twice, but they call frome a different # and use a different name ( American of course )  but they ALL have very strong Indian accents !!  They haven't arrested me yet !!  I was foolish enough to pay them the money the first, because I was scared, but I talked to an Attorney, was told it was a SCAM - and not to talk with them and just ignore the calls.  I also keep putting a block on the numbers that they are calling from !!!

I never returned the call and nothing ever happened.. Now as of today and yesterday and I received a call from the same number with a heavy accent possibly Indian or Asian. (I am 99.9% ssure it was the same guy). This time he went by the name Alex Boca or something similar to that I couldn't really make out the last name because of his accent. But he basically told me the same as last time. During one of the most recent messages he left me, the short pauses between words and a couple seconds before he hung up the phone I could hear voices in the backround calling other people and threatening them. Kind of like a recording. Don't fall for it though its a trap!!!!!!

I keep getting calls from a Ben Morris saying he is from Hernandez law firm saying my husband owes money for a cash loan saying we owe a lot of money and if we don't pay my husband is going to go to jail plz catch these crooks I'm so tired of the calls I didn't get a call for bout a month then he calls like 15 times aday it's crazy I just let it go to voice mail plz find these people and they all have Indian accents

I had the same call.this guy threaten me saying cops are coming to my house tomorrow morning.he said his name was Mark Anderson.I was laughing saying wow you have an accent from India n.your name is Mark..

This creepy guy with heavy accent called and left a message, stating it was of legal importance that I call back.  Claimed to an attorney Ron Adams.   My attorney or I was to call him back. Said if I did not respond within 24 hours  Heaven Help Me and Good Luck(his exact words), also claimed I would be arrested.  After reading several different web sites about this it sounds like this is some kind of payday loan scam. He also goes by a whole different bunch of names. Well I never have used a payday loan.  So come show up at my door and try to arrest me.  TOTAL SCAM.

He had a thick accent and claimed to be from a law office-David Hernandez in Brooklyn NY-I googled while he was talking and the firm had a very professional site and didn't match the manner of the caller--he claimed I was going to be arrested and mentioned needing my credit card information and attorney name. I told him I would call him back-I called the law firm he mentioned and they confirmed it was a scam and told me to ignore it...

AGAIN with the scam phone calls!!! I went through this months ago and reported all of this to the attorney general. They are calling again, this time under the name of Ron Adams.....I block and block continuously!!! Don't fall for it....
