I received a threatening call from a guy with  an Indian accent claiming he is an attorney and  that his name is Ron Adams from a number listed in NY as 646-583-2848.  He said to call back within 24 hours or suffer the legal consequences.  Any reputable lawyer or firm would first of all not handle themselves in this fashion or  serve someone notice over a phone call.  He is not Legitimate, stop this thief!

I just got a call from this number. The guys name was Albert Franklin with the law firm David Hernandez. Same old crap that I have received from about 100 numbers since 2009.  I told him that I was reading about his scam on the internet as we spoke, and that the FTC was warning everyone about these calls.  He hung up!  lol

This Ron Adams has called me several times. Stating I requested a cash loan in November and I needed to pay it back plus late fees. My husband found this number on the Internet and I told Ron Adams about what my husband found and he says this is legit and not to believe my husband and he was processing my case and I will be arrested by tomorrow at 12 am. He says he wishes me good luck. I mean he had my account number my social  security number. My name and everything. These blogs have really helped me out. Thanks everyone.

I call this number back about 30 times a day and harress the little [***]. I have so much fun doing it.

i got a few phone calls from this guy say his name was albert franklin and he works for the david hernandez law firm in brooklynn new York . he said I had to call back or I was gonna go to jail for a loan I never got and said it was 450 . I told him I never took out a loan and he says he has all my personal information . so I turned it over to the local police . they tried to call him back and he hung up on them. so please watch for this number 646-481-6950 . this is a scam .

He has called several times and states that I will be arrested at work tomorrow if I do not get a prepaid money pak card for $1095.37 and give him the card code.

Same scam, same threats.
I've never taken a loan from US Cash Advance. Called back Eric Foster only to be hung up upon.
Making amends for our financial mistakes often takes time and sacrifice to pay back. Don't make it harder for decent people by trying to threaten them.

this number is threatening me n my kids.they demand money (well over 1,670.00) or i will get arrested n my kids will go to foster care.he said for me to get a lawyer bc thats my only hope. was very rude n nasty.barely able to speak english n slurring his words.said i was a piece of [***] and he is going to laugh when they arrest me?

I have been receiving calls from a similar number.  It is (646)583-0168.  The guy says that he is attorney Ron Adams and that they have a law suit against me.  The loan that I supposedly excepted was $1495 from the US Check Advance.  If I do not call them back immediately then they will proceed with the lawsuit and pick me up and take me to prison.  I made the mistake in calling them back and I was told that someone better be ready to post my bail.  I argued with them and then went to the bank to check my deposit record and talked with my local police department and found out that this is a huge scam.  I really hope that this people get caught for scaring people like this.  I have never committed fraud in my life and I will not let this get to me.  I just know now to just ignore the call but they are still ringing my cell phone.  Hopefully they will soon get caught in their actions.

I have been receiving several harassing phone calls in just 2 days, some guy called Ron Adams and he from cash advance however he is using tel# 646- 583-0168 which is a new number he is using since I read post and it was different.
The guy threatened me stating I'm going to jail and they coming to arrest me for a pay day loan that they said I took out this year and I was like the WTF. U talking about. I have bank statements to prove I never took out a loan and told them what they doing is illegal and I should receive a letter from court not a harassing phone call. No legit company or even debt or credit card would call u and speak to a person like that.. I am gonna call the sheriffs dept as well as the FBI . These jerks have no life and just scamming Americans of there money . And yes the guy was of Indian descent with his accent with his heavy accent..
