Thought the number looked odd, came here. Glad I did. I dropped the call straight to the fax line.

Don't EVER say yes to a telemarketer!!!  All they have to do is get 'your authorization' to send or bill you for items you don't want nor can afford to pay for.  Try to say things like, 'My name is "blah blah", how can I help?'.  The 'just say yes' scamming systems are infamous - don't EVER SAY YES!!!

Received call on work phone, Man with heavy accent called on work phone and asked if I was, stated name, work for, stated employer and then hung up.

 Called while I was gone, did not leave a message.  From what others said it probably was somebody asking me about a business account at Amazon.  I had someone call me the other week on this and I had them Email some information.

Guy with heavy accent says he is with BizTech Business and Technology Insights. Has an offer for Amazon's free business promotions. Wants permission to send it to me. That's the weirdest part, why do they want permission to send something? In a hilarious way, it's not unlike those myths where you have to invite the devil in.

I asked him for the website of his company. He said he could not give me that information... because "it's official". I asked him to explain what that meant and he could not. He said, "No, I can't give you our website. It's official."

I told him to stop calling us. Blocked him.  I'm sure they'll call again from a different number.

That's why I answer "This is she" when asked if I am Julie. I think there is some kind of scam out there where they use the "yes" saying you agreed to whatever they were selling/ scamming

Also got call from guy claiming to be from amazon, something about business account, I told him that drugs were bad.

Gentleman said he was Ryan with Amazon.  It sounded like a telemarketer, so I hung up.  He called back, and said his name was Connor and that it wasn't a sales call, then asked for the office manager. Don't know what he was peddling, but he'd probably have better luck sticking to one fake name per call.

Same thing just happened to me

Called and said he was BizTech - I said I wasn't interested and hung up.

Received a call at my office asking for a former executive.  Lots of background noise and the caller was difficult to hear.  I said that "Dr. so-and-so" was no longer with the company.  She responded with "Oh, so he left the company?".  I repeated to her what I just said "Yes, Dr. so-and-so is no longer with the company." She said thank you for the information and hung up.

They called saying they were conducting a soft survey and asked for an employee who did not work here. I hung up.

These people have called my office number 7 times in recent weeks. I never pick up (because I know it's a scammer) and they never leave a message. Starting to get seriously annoying. One of these days I'll get fed up enough to answer the call just so I can tell them to go pound sand.

Got a phone call from a male with a European (German I'm guessing) that asked if I was Carlos and suddenly I heard a click and communication was lost.  I thought it was weird that I did not a  call back and decided to call the number back and the  number never rung and disconnected immediately.  GOOGLE the number and found that I am not the only one .....  Wondering what is their malicious intent ?
