- DebraWhen I answered the phone there was a recording asking if I wanted help with my credit card problems.... what credit card problems??? I don't have any. So if you stayed on the phone a person answered and I asked what company this was. I have done this several times, as they don't stop calling. I always get the same answer....."this is credit card services"! I asked but which company do you work for and they always say "mastercard, visa etc" Everytime I have asked very politely if they could please remove my number from their calling list. And I always get the same response!!! They HANG UP ON ME EVERYTIME!!!!! It's a scam! Don't give them any information!!!!

- LondonerCalled TD Credit Cards and the Rep confirmed that this is a company TD Hires to sell this product to TD Customers but claimed there is no way to avoid having your information shared with companies like this and there is nothing you can do but close your credit card. Not the best customer service as I had to wait on hole for 8 in to get an through and then another 10 minuter for the rep to find the answer.

- BoyanaI have been receiving calls from this number for the past month I did some digging this is a "legit" telemarketer, HOWEVER they have been under investigation in US for illegal practices- as in trying to trick people to buy stuff. What is really weird is when I went on their website I looked up their contact number which is in Washington and it is the same number that called my cell phone # earlier in the year. And now I was getting calls to my home number. So I called Canadian Anti Fraud Agency and I have made a complaint, they said that my concerns are legit and they have filed my complaint against these idiots. I also have a blocker on my phone that warns telemarketers that they are in violation of do not call list, but obviously that did not help. They are for sure in violation of do not call list, and their practices are fraudulent.

- LeroyAlso received a call stating they represented TD and were offering credit card fraud protection. Didn't listen any further, hung up. They called back 9-10 times before I found this website. Just finished listening to their automated system and tried to remove my number. Hopefully it works.

- lizkept noticing calls from this number. Finally answered and said I had seen it was a telemarketer and not to call again. Called TD, tried to leave the telemarketer number with them, but they weren't interested

- mariaJust received a call and claiming to be from TD Canada Trust trying to sell a credit check. The guy knew my fullname and address, after I confirmed it he asked my date of birth I refused to give and then he ended the call just like that.
- Chip| 2 repliesHelp! I gave them my date of birth and said yes to some questions about Transunion.. I cancelled my credit card right away and reported them to Canada AntiFraud Centre but I'm not sure if that's everything that I should do. Please I'm completely stressed about this.

- Tamianth replies to ChipYou have done the right things so far. Now, do go and see about getting a fraud watch placed on your credit! Stop stressing on it.. I'd say if you where in the US to also file reports with the ftc & fcc, but it appears this is canada..
- ScamWhat a scam. This number has been calling me for a long time on random days. When I picked up, there was a good 5 seconds of silence, no matter how many times I said Hello. Smelled like a scam already. A woman with a southern accent asked if I was so-and-so (how they have your name, I don't know). I asked what's this for, she said it's a TD Credit Card service sales call. A big bank like TD would not be calling you at 8:45pm about their service product. Clearly a scam.
- Caller: scam! claimed to be TD Credit Cards
- SudoDont pick up if they call you call its a system that see witch phone/number is active or not and they sell your numbers to spammers/ads etc

- ElleFinally got the chance to pick up on this number after weeks of knowing about it from here. Mine was also a woman with a southern accent asking if I wanted report for my TD credit card. After being blatantly rude on purpose, I kept saying no to her and she abruptly ends the call haha real professional...
- Tv| 2 repliesThey call me all the time
- lance replies to SteveI've been getting calls for the last 2 weeks, I never answer and there is never any message left. sent a text asking who it was, no reply.
- Anonym replies to Nice try boneheadsyea, i got exactly the same thing too!! he confirmed my name and was trying to sell the products on how to protect myself. First i was confused and did tell him last time i used the card was Saturday, and he said that i have to talk to different department ( he can't help me on this, this is completely bull [***]) but I DID NOT give out any of my personal information on the card over the phone. So I told him i'm not interested at the moment, and he said thanks, and just hang up on me.
- kk replies to Tv| 1 replyI took a call from this number today and it was an agency called Credit Alert that is selling a credit protection plan for $19.99/month. I called TD immediately after and they said because I confirmed my address, I essentially authorized them (in a sneaky way) to send me the credit package. I could get charged but they did say it's a one month free trial. In any event, TD gave me Credit Alert's customer service #. It's 1-800-548-2610. I called and spoke to a service agent who said I couldn't cancel the package yet because my information hasn't been added to their system. She said to call back within 24-48 hours if I want to cancel, or wait until I receive and review (another sales pitch) the package. TD says they are legit and aren't compromising peoples' credit - they're just doing a bit of sneaky business and if you don't call and cancel you'll get charged on a monthly basis. This is a waste of $$$ becuase you can obtain credit scores for free once per year and there is no need to have someone monitoring your credit on a daily basis.
- KKClaimed to be TD bank saying they had a promotional offer to check your credit report free for a month, followed by a 20$ monthly fee afterwards to continue with the service. THEY confirmed my address so it seemed legit. BUT I still said no thank you. Kind of Ironic that they are marketing against identity theft through a cold call which seems like an identity theft type of move.
If I want the credit check ill be going to my bank IN PERSON.- Caller: 647-496-4196
- Chris W replies to homerGot a few calls from this number. They never left a message. Finally answered them and a woman asked for me by name claiming to be from TD Visa. While she was talking there was a tone on the phone like someone pressed a button. I asked her to repeat herself because of the noise. She told me there was a problem with the line and said she would call back another day. I called the number and it was the TRG marketing outfit someone else was talking about here.
- JMI received my first call from this number on November 12 at 2:49PM. The caller stated she was calling from a company that had been contracted by TD Canada and wanted to speak with me regarding a promotion. I informed her that I was at work and could not take their call until sometime after 5pm. The caller stated she would call back later in the evening and never did.
I have received several calls which I have not answered because they have called while I am working. I have not received any voicemails.
Thank you to everyone who has provided information on the telephone number; I'll be sure to ask them to remove my number from their calling list.
