Have been receiving calls from 647-496-4196 twice a day at least, for months!! Have only answered twice, but no one came on the line!! I finally called the number and had the automated voice service come on, that said I could request to not receive anymore calls.....I entered my number........still getting calls!!!!! What happened to the DO NOT CALL rule!??

Just received this call. No answer. So it is thru auto dialing. Hanged up.

I received the call from 647-496-4196. A lady with American- african accent was asking my date of birth and address. She told that she was from TD Canada trust. When I refused to accept her offer (payment of some money to increase credit rate?). She told "come on, it's important for your credit rate." Suddenly, I felt it's scam. I clearly told her I'm not interested. Can anyone tell me where should I report it?

yes I am getting calls from this number......haven't been able to pick up the phone and don't wish to.....its a nuisance

Do not have your number removed from their database. This just confirms to the caller that the number is active and a real person answers. No guarantees that the calls will stop especially if the company has affiliates, subsidiaries or other numbers they call from.

Some marketing research firm. If you call back you can have your number removed from their database and it takes up to 72 hours.

i just got a call from this number and they left a weird message, sounded like it was a random pocket call, i could hear a lot of static and faint voices but was hard to make out what the said.

Call from this number yesterday. Indian-sounding guy trying to pronounce my name. Hung up.

At 10:38 pm I got a call from this number. It rang only three times and then they hung up. I didn't answer because 8 minutes and 13 minutes earlier I got calls from similar numbers -- same area code and prefix. Just the last four #s were different. In both of the other instances the phone only rang 2-3 times and hung up before I could even answer. It's a little late for any marketers to be calling. I hate that they call at all, but at that hour? Three calls within minutes of each other? Really?

Thank you for your comments. If it would really be the bank their phonenumber would be registered and would show as a name not just a what ever number. I always hang up - never answer

I've been getting calls from the twice a day for three weeks. The first time I answered, the guy said he was from TD Credit and wanted to ask me a few questions, one of which was to verify my info. I said if he's from TD he should already have that ;) I have not answered since.

They were selling some TD Canada Trust credit check thing

Called every day for the last week. Three times today.

I love boards like these. Thanks to you guys I will not answer.

Keeps calling, when I call back no answer.
